It definitely slows them down a lot. I remember back before the election it was said that if Obama gets elected, our guns will be the first thing to go. I’m glad to say that didn’t happen. This is certainly a turn in the right direction.

Now that the second amendment has been officially incorporated what does this mean? Concealed carry nation wide? (Under due process right?) 1934 National Gun control Act, 1938 Federal Firearms Act, 1968 Gun Control act, The Hugh's amendment to FOPA all overturned?

Agreed, and I'm happy with the outcome here. The next scary thing I see is the "Internet Kill-Switch" that obama is salivating for. Of course, I believe it will be selective and become a weapon against enemies, domestic and domestic...

Agreed, there is no way to view this except as a victory, but it is scary that only one vote made the difference. And the question is would the 4 dissenting liberals consider voting that other rights, such as free speech, are not incorporated? This shows me that we are in fact on a long slippery slope. This ruling slows us down a little but we’re still sliding downward at a very fast pace.
