Methinks Czar Cameron needs to be audited, 20 billion dollars?!
Spent how?!
I find it incredulous that that so many layers of redundancy already exist, but Bambi adds more layers. Why are our tax dollars going to those departments if Bambi appoints more autonomous and redundant bureaucrats? What a clusterfrig.
Yes, the above is a rhetorical question. Personally, I think about a half of Cabinet positions/departments could be completely eliminated. That's why I was against the creation of the Dept. of Homeland Security even though it was suppose to consolidate the intel agencies, which we all know it just added another layer of bureaucrazy.
Geeze, Justice, FBI, CIA, NSA, NSC, DOD et al weren't enough? In their case maybe a simple czar (overseer) WAS needed to coordinate them rather than an entire new Cabinet level department. As for the other czars...pfft!
a job for which Durbin would be imminently qualified.
As concerns mount about the presence of Asian carp near Lake Michigan, U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin today urged President Obama to appoint a carp czar to oversee efforts to keep the invasive species out of the Great Lakes.Zero can use the same magic wand he used on the BP oil leak. Thanks bamahead.
If you would like to be added or dropped from the Michigan ping list, please freepmail me.
Why hasn’t he sent an army of attorneys and who will give us our shakedown money?
“As a carp myself, I object to all of this carping.”
When I read the headline, I thought the purpose of the carp czar was to manage the growing flood of carping being directed at this administration. I guess we’ll just have to wait until it reaches deafening levels.
It’s so reassuring to know that virtually any problem we face can be solved by appointment of a czar. Obama is a managerial genius. Why didn’t any other presidents come up with this brilliant idea? I sure sleep better at night knowing this country FINALLY is in competent hands...
LOL. I think Obama already has several crap czars.
...oh good grief...
I grew up near a rural black community.
First thing I thought of when I read the headline.
and then you'd have to have a Hot Sauce Czar
Is all of that darkened area where the carp are thought/known to be?
They’re just trying to be Koi.
Now that's a job title I'd like to have in bold print on my resume'........
Speaking of czars.... and Michigan’s Great Lakes. One of the ideal places for algae is the Great Lakes, which could be next on their list.
The Govt, BP, NOAA, EPA are all in on the scheme similar to Crime, Inc. to make the Gulf of Mexico into a huge algae farm!!
Questions:
1. Who will be affected by the dispersants?
2. Is this related to Agenda 21 & depopulation?
3. Who will control the worlds food supply (article TN below)
Gulf of Mexico Intended to be an Algae Farm? Startling indeed!
http://investigatingobama.blogspot.com/2010/06/gulf-of-mexico-intended-to-be-algae.html
Excerpt:
This administration and many other entities like BP, Citi, Nalco, GM, GE, Goldman Sachs, University of Chicago, holding companies along with Dept. of Defense, billionaires and politicians are all vested in biofuels.
What is going on in the Gulf is directly related to this new industry.
There is an algae these companies are interested in.
From the mouth of the Mississippi river, all along the Gulf coast and spreading down to the Everglades is prime area for growing this algae. Crist is aware of this. Hes funding it. There [are] a couple of other prime spots too. Chesapeake is one area and the Great Lakes is another. (Funny, we already had a Great Lakes Czar and a Chesapeake Czar. Now we have a Gulf Czar too!)

Yeah, well I suppose that's fine as far as it goes, but the first question that occurred to me is, "Are there any Progressive carp czars out there"? But, but, but, what's the difference between a Progressive carp czar and just a plain ol' run of the mill carp czars, you might ask? Well, a Progressive carp czar will put up signs that say: "Warning, this area infested by Asian carp, native U.S. carp stay away." Also, lame attempts will be made to net Asian carp by Federally licensed fishermen in a humane way and flown back to Asia to be dumped. If any are hurt in the process, the fishermen will be prosecuted and put in jail. And lastly, measures will be put in place for the ones that don't get netted to make sure they have equal feeding opportunities relative to native U.S. carp.
Maybe they could hire the WKRP Carp.
I like the sound of that... not sure that Durbin (or the Zero) would approve of my reign, but I accept!
The year isn’t half over, give him time, geez.
