Exactly. The beneficiaries of these state pension funds are SEIU, teacher unions, public safety unions and other public employee unions. Obama’s favorite folks. And much as I’d like to see some of those people share in the misery they have caused, I think a lot of those pension plans shield them from decreased benefits. If the pension investments don’t measure up, they have the right to tap into taxpayers to make up the difference.
