In 1947 Palestine was divided into two territories. A sliver for the jewish palestinians and the rest for the arab palestinians. Jewish Palestine was renamed Israel. Arab Palestine was renamed Jordan.

Immediately after WWII the USSR aggressively pursued their expansionist goals. The ME was a priority because of the oil and forcing the devolution of the English, Dutch, and French empires was another. This was part of it.

The problem is the European Jewish refugees moved into Palestine, brought property with the intent to break away as an independent country and disregard the rest of the Arabs living within Isreal. It is like Mexicans moving into the US Southwest with the intent to create a popular majority and petition the UN to declare NM, AZ and TX part of Mexico because the majority in these states are Mexicans and historically it was Mexican territory before it was lost to the US by the TX rebellion and US Mexican War. If Americans would react violently to such an act, imagine how the Arab Palestinians feel. It is a recipe for trouble as forseen by Sec of State Marshall in 1948 (the same person/general who was architect for the successful anti Soviet Marshall Plan in Europe). Fast foward 60 years, Isreal is a reality that the Palestinians will have to accept or face a war of annihilation. Resettling into Jordan may be the only viable option left for them. The US will have to deal with the residual Arab hatred for Americans as a result of the Isreali/Palestinian conflict. Lessons learned, don’t get involve in intense inter ethnic conflicts that are not vital to US strategic interests.

Wilders also called on the Dutch government to refer to Jordan as Palestine and move its embassy to Jerusalem.

The grammar on this sentance is pretty poor, probably because it was a translation or something. It almost seems to imply that the capital of Jordan should be Jerusalem. I don't really think that is what he meant. Otherwise, he's absolutely correct. Jordan is the palestinian state set up 60 years ago as the couterpart of Israel. I (and many others) have been saying this for years. The fact that the MSM and other anti-semite fellow travellers keep trying to feed us the arab lie, that Isreal needs to be further partitioned is almost incomprehensible.

But if, arguendo, there were such a thing as a Palestinian, they already have a state and a government. Furthermore, when Transjordan occupied “Palestine/West-Bankia/whatever” in 1949, and subsequently annexed it in 1953 and changed their name to Jordan, the “Palestinians” were ok with that. No intifada, no terrorism, not even any unkind editorials in the local jarida. So Jordan is Palestine by default. Unfortunately for Jordan, the Jews wrested control of Judah and Shomron from Jordan in 1967, back when Jordan was part of the international coalition to drive the Jews into the sea. But they still have the rest of Palestine to relocate refugees to and resettle those unhappy with post-67 life in Judah and Shomron. Israel took all the Jews that all the Arab states kicked/drove out. They have plenty of room now, and lots of cash from all that oil and confiscated Jooo money. So what the hey? There already is a Palestine, and its name is Jordan.

Oh, my. There WERE terrorist attacks against Jordan? Other than that, I got most of the article without even reading it first. But this must be repeated as often and as loudly as possible.

Give the West Bank back to Jordan and Gaza back to Egypt, and let Israel be. If “Palestinian” rockets are fired into Israel from the West Bank or Gaza, then they should get ready for Israeli retaliation against Amman and Cairo.

“Jordan is Palestine”

I wonder if Geert has ever asked the Jordanians and the Palestinians?

Silly Argument. If you go to the West Bank and ask people who they are they’ll say Palestinians, Sorry end of argument.

You seem to assume that the Arabs were the majority and there were few Jews in the area formerly known as Palestine. Jews were a majority in Jerusalem. Many of the Arabs were nomads who came to the area following the Jews cultivation of the land. Muslims love to claim other people’s/culture’s accomplishments.
