Eight days ago, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal ordered barges to begin vacuuming crude oil out of his state's oil-soaked waters. Today, against the governor's wishes, those barges sat idle, even as more oil flowed toward the Louisiana shore.

I agree wholeheartedly. I thought that O didn’t want any action so he could use this disaster to his benefit (cap and trade and more taxes). I thought it was more than he just didn’t care. Fox interviewed a family today and the husband was out of work from this mess. They have a bunch of kids (one with a medical problem) and you could just see the panic in their eyes. It made me want to cry.
He needs to use the LA NG to guard his operations and do what needs to be done.
I’ve been saying this all day but I’m giving it two weeks. And then all hell is going to break loose.
So there were a few blank spaces in the bureaucratic paper work—had to check life saver vests —OMG—

I know Jindal bombed the State of the Union response, but his leadership during this crisis has been spectacular.
