Last fall, Speaker Nancy Pelosi moved her district office into the new federal building in San Francisco. The move quadrupled the rent she pays, and her new $18,736 monthly bill is almost double the next-highest rental paid by a Member of the House.
She is insane you know.
I soooo want to see her go down in November! Yes, I know. In my dreams. It is the Bay area, ya know.
She belongs in a jail cell.

She thinks she’s queen. I’d like to see a guillotine erected outside her office.

She does think she is President. However, doesn’t the Republican Majority Leader get the place once she eventually gets into a minority leader position?
The sickness is in the people who keep voting her into office. They must worship her, like they worship Obama.

Pelosi’s new offices will be at the Federal Building on 7th street.
The building is on the site of the old Greyhound bus station, and played host to bums, junkies, chickenhawks, and whores. It was demo’d by the city for redevelopment. For 15 years, it was a big hole, which quickly became a garbage dump and open toilet. Then Feinstein and Boxer got the Fed’s to buy the lot and build federal offices. It’s still surrounded by skid row.
The building is a joke.
It suppose to be a “green building”. So it was designed to use only 1/2 the energy of a normal building
To cut down on the use of air conditioning, it uses a system of open windows and air flow. The problem is that if you open the windows, wind currents up to 35mph are created. This blows everything all over the place; paper, cups, trash cans, etc. Even when the windows are open, people near the windows freeze and people further away don’t get cool. The only solution is to keep the windows closed so everyone roasts.
In order to cut down on heating the building was designed to resemble a green house, so there’s no curtains. Workers have to bring in umbrellas and jury rig awnings to get some shade.
Also to encourage workers to exercise and “interact”, almost all the elevators only stop on every third floor. Which forces you to walk up or down a flight of stairs to get to the floor you want. The remaining elevators that stop on every floor are jammed with people and always have a line.

Please explain how the Republican Majority person would be travelling to San Francisco and not have his or her office in his or her own district?
