IIRC, Bush waived the Jones ACt, so we could receive international assistance? Could this be obamma helping out his union buddies again?

When the Jones Act provisions were waived in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the waiver specifically applied only to ships engaged in the transport of oil and natural gas. My guess is that this activity specifically involved the movement of these commodities from offshore drilling locations to U.S. ports.

I believe Bush did waive it but a lefist sent me a WaPo op ed from 97 that showed the USA didn’t take most of the help
and some of the help sent rotted.

My response is and you, leftist, want to repeat this behavior?

I hate so much how 0dumbo and his supporters always try to make it bout Bush
