The dispersants probably kill more fish than the oil..................
That was excellent. Thanks so much for posting.
I agree. Where is the original rationale for the use of the dispersants? Where’s the current rationale for the use of the dispersants?
The oil got emulsified leaving the pipe so that is part of it to. The entire thing is pretty sad either way.
I am glad you posted this thread again, someone else did this morning and it quickly turned an attack the messenger thread with the messenger being the AP guy.
I figured if I posted on that thread they would be all over me.
J.
The dispersants, which are far more poisonous than oil, are made by NALCO, a Chicago corporation that may have connections to Rahm, BP, and Obama. So far, no one has fished out the details, but there was some discussion on an earlier thread, which questioned why the government has completely ignored a Maine company that has been producing oil containment booms.

I did find that there’s at least one guy who sits on the boards of both NALCO and BP. And there seem to be a bunch of very suspicious big owners of NALCO stock. The usual suspects.
This needs to be investigated further, IMHO. Sure as hell the MSM won’t touch it with a ten foot pole.
This video is extremely sad and compelling.
The divers are taking a big gamble exposing themselves to the chemicals and hydrocarbons. This whole mess just makes me sick.
Words cannot express how I feel about this tragedy and the events that have occurred since the blowout.
Prayers for the Gulf Coast and the families of the 11 men who lost their lives on the rig.
The Gulf of Toxico.
Thanks, BP.
Thanks, President Tar ball.
Bastards.
dispersants = ‘Snot Balls’
effective = Not
BP contradicts government claim on oil plumes
Company’s COO says apparent differences may be due to semantics
BPs Suttles denies deep Gulf oil plumes
June 9: BPs chief operating officer tells TODAYs Meredith Vieira that the latest capping method is capturing 15,000 barrels of oil per day and that the firm has found no evidence of large oil plumes swirling deep within the Gulf.

I hope the folks on the Gulf are thinking about a modern version of Noah’s Ark and begin rounding up as much the wildlife and fish they can in order to take care of them until the Gulf is clean and alive again which could take a long time.
The sight of those oil soaked penguins dead and dying is heart wrenching. One can only imagine whats going in the deep, we will never see it, only the results.
Keeps coming to my mind:
8 Then the second angel blew his trumpet, and a great mountain of fire was thrown into the sea. One-third of the water in the sea became blood, 9 one-third of all things living in the sea died, and one-third of all the ships on the sea were destroyed. Revelation 8
