WASHINGTON (AP) -- Progressive activists who helped elect Barack Obama president are criticizing the White House and congressional Democrats, saying they are too timid and too willing to compromise.

“Progressive” is a matter of opinion, depending upon your definition of progress. If we say that liberals are progressives, we admit that their ideas cause progress. However, liberal ideas harm our country.
