Not only accepted it, he and his admin together with the EPA put up every road block they could to PREVENT the protection of shorelines. Repeated request for equipment, authorization, and action were ignored or denied.
Disgraceful.
So this makes the story about his daughter asking him just the other day, “have they fixed the leak yet, Daddy?” seem pretty bogus. I mean, if he knew for two months that this couldn’t be fixed for months, why wouldn’t he tell his daughter rather than having her think it was going to be fixed any day now.
Well to be fair they did say they were keeping their jackboot on BP’s neck.
Knowing all of this when he did, and NOT making any efforts for coastal protection. That in itself is criminal negligence.

Politically, this works for their agenda, although they may take some hits for the dead pelicans. If they can get the negative focus back on BP via lawsuits, they probably think they can survive this.

OOOkkay. Doesn’t that suggest that his best course was to leave the rig to BP and focus on mitigating the vironmental damage to our southern wetlands?
And there's some fool in gov. saying they should put BP into temporary receivership. Yeah, I guess the banking, auto, and student loan industries aren't enough for the socialists. They want a slice of the oil/energy industry too.

I posted this in another thread but it really does highlight just how evil they are. They could have had tankers, been building the berms, been skimming, and so forth to keep the oil offshore but that wouldn’t help push the anti-oil agenda.
This administration is not going to let a crisis go to waste. He’s working on ramming that cap and tax bill through. They just are renaming the bill so as to pull the wool over the sheeple’s eyes.
American Power Act is the renamed cap and trade bill. This oil spill crisis isn’t going to waste as the evil progressives have started running political ads against several R’s. They’ve been running ads here against Vitter and when I looked up the group that made the ad it was American Family Voices.
