A few weeks ago my wife and I were shopping at the big hardware/lumber/plant and whatever store.

A nice young man waited on us. I noticed he had a star of David Tat on his right arm below his elbow and two sets of numbers below the Star of David.

I asked if those two numbers were what I thought they were.

He said probably so. His great grandparents survived the death camps and those were the id #’s tatooed on their arms.

He said that several members of his family had done what he did to carry the message and to never forget what happened.

No offense intended, but that "lack of clear thinking" in other eyes might be called stupid, especially if it leads to suicide. But point taken...although how such a large segment of any group could be that blind is difficult to grasp.
