Fiscal Fraud of Obamacare Snowballing Already
Human Events ^ | 6/2/2010 | Terence P. Jeffrey

Remember the health care issue? Well, the fiscal consequences of the socialized medicine scheme enacted by President Barack Obama and Congress just two months ago are already beginning to snowball.

Democratic Rep. Henry Waxman of California, the chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, was one of the key architects and advocates of Obamacare. He was back on the House floor on Friday delivering an urgent plea to fellow Democrats that inadvertently -- or, perhaps, unavoidably -- revealed the fraudulent nature of our new national health care regime.

It was supposed to save the taxpayers money, remember?

"This legislation will lower costs for families and for businesses and for the federal government, reducing our deficit by over $1 trillion in the next two decades," Obama said when he signed the bill.

On Friday, Waxman declared that the sky is about to fall on the Medicare system. He went to the House floor to "urge" his colleagues to vote for a bill that includes $102 billion in new federal spending and would add $54 billion to the national debt over the next 10 years -- $25 billion of it in the few months remaining in this fiscal year.

Why did Waxman believe this new borrowing-and-spending was necessary?

...Another failed policy of Barack H. Obama.

Wouldn't it we easier to list the successes? I have them enumerated as follows:

We knew this was a disaster before they passed it.

They pass it anyway.

Now the sad news: 75%+ of these people are going to coast to easy re-election.

Calling it “failed policy” is far to kind.

The truth is, his “policy” is a lie.

Good point.

Lies on top of more lies.

It is going to be something to see it all come crashing down...

Yeah, well....the real problem is....we have no real men or Republican leadership (other than Sarah Palin). To my knowledge, I’m not aware of one Rep that is talking about this blatant failure on the part of Democrats. Why? Are they still trying to find their ____, ____, or ____? (fill in the blanks)

It looks like the Democrats will be able to do as they please.....continue to foul America and our economy, continue to screw the taxpayers, continue to fail miserably, continue to commit more crimes, continue to lie with no accountability and continue to blame Bush and Republicans for every failure under the sun.

Long before we get to 2012, obama will be widely recognized as the worst President in American history. Worse than Wilson. Worse than LBJ. Worse than Carter.

obama could be a true blessing IF Americans and the rest of the world see and understand that the progressive's ideas, policies and goals are a guaranteed socio-economic disaster.

obama is bad news, but the progressive ideology is the kiss of death for any government that tries to implement it.
