Interesting.
If they needed to swap out and try a different cap design,
I guess they could lift the entire system off from up above.
But then, at that point, I don’t know if they would have to
attach the new cap to the existing pipe,
or run an entire new pipe down.

I'm thinking in light of what has happened in the last week that we should revive this thread. Seems that Fumbles and Rex goofed up and bumped the cap.
Any comments on whether the repacement is better or worse?

It is very puzzling to me.
Sometimes when you look at the live feeds
it seems like almost all of the leak is being captured.
Other times it looks just like it always has.
