Explanation of White House 'job offer' energizes doubters
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | 5/29/2010 | By Bob Unruh

White House lawyer Robert Bauer's statement today on the "job offer" to Rep. Joe Sestak carefully explained it was really only an unpaid advisory position that would allow Sestak to stay in his U.S. House seat representing Pennsylvania.

But the words did nothing to remove critics' doubts, and one commenter on the blog of conservative columnist Michelle Malkin may have touched a nerve when he wrote, "When you are telling the truth you do not have to prepare a response. The truth does not have to be manipulated. It does not have to be reviewed by attorneys. It does not have to be prepared. Calls don't have to be made to get the story straight."

Isn’t Bob Bauer Obama’s personal attorney that sealed his school records, from an FOIA, Then was given White House counsel job just when the ACORN scandal broke.

Don't worry John.

The State Conrolled Media is ALL OVER this story! They will leave NO STONE unturned to find something! I heard there are over 1,000 reporters assigned to this!

Oh wait......different story.......never mind......

The only problem is that in an early press interview about this, a reporter named Kane asked Sestak whether he had been offered a job by someone IN the White House. Sestak said YES>. The part about Bill Clinton has been made up in recent days to “save the Dem party.” He wasn’t IN Obama’s White House.

DNC newest defense - it depends on what the definition of IN is....

Excellent write up, John. I’m curious as to your rhetorical bend on the “high crimes and misdemeanors” going on in DC. We have a President who’s supposed to be leading and taking responsibility for EVERYTHING happening in our nation, yet he cherry picks his issues, those that are most politically expedient and convenient to him. Is it your opinion that the WH is using strongarm tactics through Rahm, et al. to surreptitiously push away the press from the bete noire issues while Obama acts as the “good cop,” if you will, to bring attention to those that bolster his presidency?

My take on this is that Obama is gallivanting around the country for himself while Rahm is acting as a giant shield covering his backside from attacks from the Republicans and the media. It’s downright frightening how effective one man has become in shuffling issues off into a dark dusty corner of the media market. There’s no legal accountability, no fait accompli, no responsibility for any issue that would tarnish “the One’s” reputation.

I often wonder if this is how the Left saw Rove, but at least Rove was honest.

Exactly! And everyone with eyes can SEE all of this. And yet, many do not even care. I received an email this morning with the following: “This quote was translated into English from an article appearing in the
Czech Republic as published in the Prager Zeitung of 28 April 2010 .

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of
entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier
to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore
the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate
willing to have such a man for their president.”

“The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who
is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the
fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that
made him their prince.

The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool.

It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who
made him their president.””

"The White House's story is so unconvincing that the media are convinced it's true!"

YUP! Big surprise there ha? The result of the Lame Stream Media's mass consumption of the anointed ones Kool-Aid!

Sestak says federal job was offered to quit race
After yesterday's taping, Sestak said he recalled the White House offer coming in July, as he was preparing to formally announce his Senate candidacy in August.
Have to go back to June/July 2009.

June 2, 2009 - It is gossiped that funds for the Clinton Global Initiative weren't the only thing raised in Argentina...
...she gave Bill Clinton a private dance

A Clinton spokesman in New York, however, said yesterday that her story "is completely false. They were at the hotel playing cards with the former and current presidents" and "a small group of staff and friends." They were playing "Oh, Hell," he said.

Oooookay...I believe that! /sarcasm

June in general - Payback: Bill Clinton's loyalty tour
ongoing effort that has involved him in campaigns in at least eight states...
Snip...Clinton’s loyalty has its limits. Though he’s close to Democratic Rep. Joe Sestak, who appears set to challenge Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter in the 2010 Senate primary, Clinton plans to avoid the Pennsylvania contest, according to a source.

If that's true he didn't follow through. (or the "source" doesn't know squat and should never be used again!)
