War On Terror: We've seen the enemy and it's not just the jihadists. It's also our own government, which refuses to see this very real enemy. How can we fight and defeat what we refuse to see?
First it was the Pentagon, which whitewashed jihad's obvious role in the Fort Hood massacre. Then it was the attorney general, who during congressional testimony couldn't bring himself to say that "radical Islam" motivated the turncoat Muslim soldier who opened fire at the base. Or the Muslim terrorist who tried to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner. Or the Muslim terrorist who tried to blow up Times Square.
Now the president's top counterterrorism adviser has taken the PC self-censorship to a new level. During a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, deputy National Security Adviser John Brennan argued that the term "jihadists" should not be used to describe America's enemies.
"Nor do we describe our enemy as 'jihadists' or 'Islamists,'" he intoned, "because jihad is a holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam, meaning to purify oneself or one's community."
Brennan could benefit from talking to people who have actually been on the front lines fighting jihadists. "There is rightly placed concern that we not label all Muslims as Islamist terrorists," said a declassified 2008 report by U.S. Central Command's Red Team. "However, it is entirely proper to address certain aspects of violence as uniquely Islamic."

Of course, it wouldn’t have anything to do with many politicians in current administration, past; etc would have a vested interest in global activities. You know the ground floor to many scams.
Well, as far as I am concerned, I'm not being misled from one iota of the truth.
Further, I would suspect that most people would conclude that all Brennan is doing is simply placating to special interests groups (and, thus, Obama's political interests).
It is fairly straight-forward....is it not?
