At President Obama's talks with Senate Republicans, little is accomplished
By Paul Kane and Shailagh Murray
Wednesday, May 26, 2010

President Obama went to Capitol Hill on Tuesday for a rare meeting with Senate Republicans, but the 75-minute session yielded little progress on hot-button topics and left some senators with bruised feelings.

"He needs to take a Valium before he comes in and talks to Republicans," Sen. Pat Roberts (Kan.) told reporters. "He's pretty thin-skinned."

Sen. Sam Brownback (Kan.) described the meeting as "testy," and Sen. John Thune (S.D.) called it a "lively discussion." Others questioned whether the "symbolism" of Obama's approach matched the actions of his Democratic congressional allies.

In his first meeting with the Senate Republican caucus in more than a year, Obama hoped to secure support on a broad range of issues, including immigration. As he left, the president said, "We had a good, frank discussion on a whole range of issues."

I’m glad they’re starting to understand they’re dealing with a frothing lunatic. He needs a straitjacket and a padded cell, not a valium.

Narcissist’s are just that way.

It’s their way or the highway.

In 2010 his skin is going to be a lot lot thinner.

Sounds like some of the members of the "House of Lords" are pretty thin skinned too.

Brownback said Obama explained several times that he is "under pressure from his left" on major issues, including climate change.

I can only think of one Democrat to the Left of Obama, Bernie Sanders.

So how much pressure could there be?

What kind of upbringing did this man have? His mom was running from commierev to commierev, guess he never had a dad.

You can say what you like, but how you related to your dad influences how you relate to other authority figures later in life.

There is so much we do not know about this man.

Frankly I’ve suspected this little vacation to Chicago has more to do with his mental state than anything else. He’s been looking angry for quite awhile, at least since the BP spill and now he’s got the Koreas, Iran, Turkey, the EU, the illegals and lots others on his back. Not sure he is equipped to handle it.

He is going to need a cocktail of Lithium, Paxil, Lexipro and 3-5 excellent Martini’s beginning around 2P.M. everyday.

Otherwise he is going to be our modern day version of CHARLES VI-THE FOOLISH of France.

Slack Jawed, Intellectually Needy, Sissy Boy.

Couple of those and we won’t be having much of a problem with the indo-kenyan, he’ll be in a permanent comma. But hey, whatever works!!!!

If the press turns on the worm we may see a melt-down that will make Chernobyl look insignificant. It could get very dangerous in this country.

You are NOT sure? Are you kidding me? Barry is not equipped to handle a playground disagreement. Barry is a total and complete fraud, why do you think ALL of his records are sealed?
