As I remember when the Bears played at Wrigley Field, there were quite a few BYOBs in December. And they were drinking the hard stuff, later supplemented by beer.

Agreed .....but whatever band they get to play the halftime will freeze their maracas off and the money types who can afford to buy super bowl tickets will not be happy freezing either....

It’s not just about the game. Southern locations get people coming there to vacation, for the whole “super bowl experience.” There will be none of that in Jersey in February. None.
