Is it Assimilation or Invasion?

Some Mexicans use the term "reconquista," which is Spanish for reconquest, to describe their desire to see California, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas acquired by Mexico and named the new country of Aztlan. They are teaching their youth that the United States "stole" those areas from Mexico and that they should be "returned."

“Well, let’s open up a war front on the mexican border. See if those 3rd world boy scouts can stand up to our military. Last time we took 1/2 of their country, this time we could take it all. However, we don’t really want it, and I’d really just rather give them Kali-fornia anyway.”

Nuts to that, We keep California. And I wouldn't mind having mexico. As long as there are no mexicans left in it. It would take decades to get rid of the smell though...

Our nation was founded on the concept of ‘assimation of diverse cultures” as George Washington stated “ to form a nation, we must have one language, one flag and one Culture. Any person teaching cultural diversity at the time of the founding fathers would have been fired if not tared and feathered.

Arizona’s state senator Russell Pearce is planning to introduce legislation that prevents AZ from giving birth certificates to infants of illegals that confer citizenship.

Your Supreme Court case will be heard not too long after that.

“I sold some land in New Mexico years ago. The purchaser saw the neighbors and asked...”Are those people Mexicans?”

I said “No, they are Navajos”

He said ..”Thank God! A Mexican will steal you blind!”
A few weeks ago my Sister and were holding a yard sale when a van pulled up and emptied several mexicans. They milled around and left with out buying any thing. But my Sister told me she saw one of the females put a packet of costume jewelry down her shirt. Later she told me she didn't want to confront her.

This was in a small own in Arkansas. I called the local law and reported them. Filthy thieves.

The books, written in Spanish and including all academic subjects, teach that America "stole" the southwest from Mexico and that Mexico is entitled to take it back. The Mexican government considers these textbooks a symbol of Mexican national pride, guarantees a set to every Mexican child, and makes it a crime for anyone to sell them.

Mexico is a failed state and a failed society, and they have constructed a mountain of lies to be taught to their children which provides an excuse to invade the US and make false claims of entitlement. It is the only short term hope they have of a better future, for those who illegally enter the US and for those who stay in Mexico. They come here with their heads filled with lies that justify their illegal entry and demands for their "rights" in the US.

And, the rest of the Latino nations south of Mexico aren't all that different. Americans with either stand up to this or eventually give their nation, and political control of their nation, away to foreign invaders.

I really take issue with those accusations.

Mexican culture, or I should say Mexicans, are no more prone to theft or lies than say, Italians.

The Lord knows! Italians and their national culture have taken real blows due to the behavior of a criminal minority in the U.S. (some of my ancestors are Italian-Swiss). It’s been a shame because of all the admirable things that the Italian penninsula has contributed to Western Civilization over the past 2500 years.

It is not the American way of fairness to tar an entire people for the behavior of individuals.

Maybe that's why the U.S. government sees fit to dump millions of these people on us...Even though we don't even have the jobs to support these people..

It's reached a point where this government would grant citizenship to cannibals from the Congo, and then force us to respect their culture...

lol...You're not paying attention...Mexico is one of the most corrupt countries on the face of this earth...You can bribe their officials with a case of beer and cheap prostitutes.

You think if Italy was on our southern border today, we'd have a violent, corrupt epic illegal invasion of our country by Italians?

I respect your right, to your opinions.
“the American way of fairness” is what has gotten us in to this situation. It’s time to understand we awe dealing with a race of ignorant murdering thieves that are bent on destroying any thing resembling civilization.

JMexicans obviously have no thought of invading the Southwest with troops, so their hope is reconquista by migration, both legal and illegal.

The idea that a minority group would even consider the idea of dominating U.S. society by virtue of demographically overwhelming the population, then draining the nation of its resources through exploitation of 'entitlement' programs is simply astounding!

Next thing you know, there will be claims that some Hispanic groups have community organizers showing them how to suck up taxpayer-funded programs and getting them to vote for politicians to represent them!

And it's simply rediculous to think that anyone like that could be successful in any political office.

I was born in Los Angeles. My parents were born in Los Angeles.

As a Roman Cathlic I attended parochial school with kids who parents were from Mexico.

I’m also, through a grandfather, of German ancestry. Due to the Germans and Japanese in the 20th midcentury, a world war was fought that resulted in the deaths of 90 million plus people (most recent estimate from last year).

No nation is perfect for the entirety of its history. Not even ours.

I’m quite capable of making judgements about people and nations without resorting to Jingoism.

Maybe it’s time to abrogate the Guadalupe Hidalgo Treaty, annex the Baja peninsula and move the border closer to Mexico city. Then don’t give the people like, Senator Salizar’s family, who were in the current boundaries, the opportunity to stay or be removed to the new and more southern Mexico, simply move.

we need to show force and they will stay at bay. unfortunately, with the administration we have, they will roll over and hand everything we have to a foreign country that is basically worthless.

The President of Mexico used the term “migration” when he gave a speech here recently = not immigration. I’m thinking that using that term means that he views the illegal immigration more as some sort of ‘right’ that Mexicans have to come here if they so choose. Sort of like birds flying wherever they want in the winter, etc. He definitely doesn’t view illegal immigration as a problem for Mexico and therefore would not mind if we gave citizenship to anyone and everyone in his country. Very strange.

I like that idea. Would serve them right to have to eat their own debt. Would be too funny!

Interesting ...Muslims call it ‘taqquiah,’ which is Arabic for a type of intentional strategic lying in order to achieve a specific purpose. Seems to be a kind of kinship there.
