LAGOS, Nigeria A private security official says pirates kidnapped two Russian sailors during an attack on a cargo ship off the coast of Cameroon. The official told The Associated Press on Wednesday that the attack on the MV North Spirit occurred as the ship filled with fertilizer and soya beans was anchored off of Cameroon's commercial capital, Douala. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to speak to the media, says about 20 pirates stole the ship's equipment and the sailors' personal belongings during the assault Sunday. The pirates took the ship's captain and chief engineer hostage, the official says, adding that there has been no ransom demand. The attack comes as acts of violent piracy have increased along the West African coast.

I guess news spreads slowly in Africa because after what happened recently pirates messing with the Ruskies is a dead pirate.
A while back, the Discovery channel had a show about the “mercinaries” who were taking on piracy and illegal fishing off the west african coast.
Seems that the UN was trying to sieze the captured pirate and fishing boats to collect the bounties for themselves.
The entirety of Sub-Saharan Africa is a cesspool that should be depopulated and turned into a wildlife park.

That's TWENTY dead pirates and two rescued Russians. And the Russians STILL don't play.
Pass the popcorn. Interesting, this is on Africa’a west coast.
Since Oballso has none, maybe we can loan the Marine Corps anthem to the Ruskies, the part to the shores of Tripoli that is.
It must spread REAL slowly - remember what the Russians did when their guys got kidnapped in Afghanistan? They grabbed some Afghanis and sent them back in pieces.
