Len Britton is running against Senator Leahy in Vermont - this is a great ad that is getting him some traction - wouldn't it be great to get rid of Leaky Leahy? I have relatives in Vermont and they sense the winds may be changing....

It would be great to see Leaky Leahy tossed out. Is there any reason to believe it’ll happen?

Pray for the Pennsylvania primary. It will be the bellwether for the rest of the country's elections.

The last thing I want to see is video of Leaky going down.
There might be a niche market in some areas of San Fransico though.

From his site
>>08 Apr 2010 As seen in WPTZ
Vt. Republican Sells Business For Campaign
COLCHESTER, Vt. —Vermont’s Republican U.S. Senate candidate Len Britton announced big changes to his campaign Thursday.
Britton said he’s just sold his family’s longtime lumber and hardware business outside Woodstock. He said that will allow him to work full-time on his campaign to unseat Democratic Sen. Patrick Leahy.
I note the word Republican isn’t so visible on his site but this is New England where the R-word may scare off some
people (as in Scott Brown campaign)
To: Ballygrl
I think there is a chance - I’m from Massachusetts and if Scott Brown could win - Len Britton can definitely win - I think it will actually be easier to win in Vermont - the real Vermonters are recognizing the New Yorkers that have moved in over the years (i.e. Howard Dean, Bernie Sanders) are destroying the state and they want to clean house. The question is, are there enough real vermonters to defeat the liberal “flatlanders”?

Last election there was a person by the name of McMullen running against Leahy. Is he running too?

Well, at least this time we have a real candidate. Was it 1998 or 2004 that there was so little interest in running against Leahy that Democrats crossed over and nominated a joke candidate. That was one of the low points in recent Republican history.

Pray for the Pennsylvania primary. It will be the bellwether for the rest of the country's elections. Unless a huge pro-Toomey turnout is your measure, it's hard to say what could be read into the Pennsylvania primary. That said, I'm hoping for a huge pro-Toomey turnout.

I lived in Vermont a while for a job project. There is no chance on God’s green earth that Leaky will lose. This is a state that is so liberal it is “cool” to be considered a socialist. These people are out there. They make people in Massachusetts seem sane.
