Sarah Palin: New Mexico is Fired Up, Ready to Go!
Sarah Palin Facebook ^ | Saturday May 15, 2010 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 05/15/2010 10:22:18 PM PDT by Bigtigermike

I’m proud to endorse Susana Martinez for governor of New Mexico. Susana is a strong pro-family, pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, pro-development fiscal conservative who’s going to fight the corruption that’s plagued her state and bring transparency, accountability, and renewed fiscal vitality to New Mexico.

As a tough district attorney, Susana fights for justice everyday in this promising, beautiful state. Her unwavering commitment to bring justice speaks to her determination and strength of character.

As governor, Susana will lead New Mexico to a new economic vitality based on free market reform that cuts out the cronyism, invites competition, reduces taxes, cuts waste, and creates jobs – all while identifying and rooting out the corruption that has taken hold for too long in this state which deserves so much better!

Please join me in supporting this breath of fresh air from the Land of Enchantment – the gorgeous state of New Mexico! Visit her website here, and follow her on Facebook and Twitter.

I’m also excited to join Susana at the 9:00 am rally tomorrow, Sunday, May 16th, at the Albuquerque Marriott Grand Ballroom, located at 2101 Louisiana Blvd. NE. Space is limited, so please click here to RSVP if you can swing by and join us.

Clearly the most valuable political endorsement on the planet right now.

Talk about building good will!

Throughout the west Palin is endorsing conservative women in state-wide and congressional races...at a time when the GOP stock is soaring.

Not knowing anything about this race, but since I love to vacation in New Mexico, I’d like to know: Is this another case of Sarah endorsing the “GOP establishment” candidate, as with John McLame or Carly Fiorina?

I’m beginning to lose any interest in Miz Palin, to the point of being instantly suspicious of anyone she endorses.

It would appear that you do not live in New Mexico and, therefore, couldn’t vote so not sure why you are even weighing in on the issue.

Admit it, Sarah Palin could endorse Jesus Christ for office and you would claim that Palin should have endorsed the Pharisee.

Susana Martinez is a district attorney in Dona Ana county on the border with Mexico. She is strongly law and order, for secure borders and understands that our small businesses need a break if unemployment in NM is going to drop.

Allen Weh, a former US Marine, is a successful small businessman in Albuquerque. He also wants to strengthen small businesses and is for securing the border. He and others are running against Susana in the primary.

Diane Denish, the dim opponent in November, is a woman and the current lt. gov. I pick Susana because, as a woman and a hispanic, she has a better chance of beating Diane Denish than Weh does.

McCain is a special situation that pained/pains me too, but Fiorina is appropriate for where the race is in California. Did you miss her early support for Rand Paul in Mitch’s back yard? Her strong support for Jan Brewer with the illegal immigration situation in Arizona? Just what other potential candidate have you seen standing up on that one?

Martinez seems to me to be far better than Queeg and more of a true conservative than Fiorina

this is not a pragmatic endorsement like Fiorina was...Martinez seems genuine...more so than Domenici

don’t know anything about the others..maybe someone can tell us

New Mexico will be difficult for GOP in this race...according to polls

I’m afraid that no candidate who pushes too hard to endorse the Arizona immigration law could possibly win in New Mexico. There are too many people who are terrified of (the perception of) that law.

Seems Sarah is building a team and there'll be a lot of women on it. What matters is that Obama and Crew know she's got them in her sights. (Keeping McCain's butt in the conservative column will be a piece of cake, she could do that with one hand tied behind her back.)

These East Coast libs with Chicago thuglines haven't the slightest idea what they're up against. An armada is building and will soon be headed their way. States versus the Feds, individuals versus the collective, liberty versus slavery, you betcha! But more importantly- Truth versus Lies. Unlike some people, Americans can handle the Truth. We just haven't seen it in a while.

I'll see your 'astro-turf' and raise you a couple of 'styrofoam columns', turkey.

A lot of moderate women are going to give her a second look when they realize how many strong female pols are with—and lifted up by—her.

then why don’t you just go away, because no one here cares what you think....you never bring anything but Moogly type stuff to any thread with Madam President, under the guise of McCain, and everyone with a brain knows why she endorsed him, so get over it and go away....
