“Ground Zero Mosque SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN”
I think only overwhelming public sentiment (especially and most importantly in NYC) has the power to do so.
Have NYC Athiests chimed in on this? They were apoplectic over the cross beam that was on the WTC site simply because some Christians viewed it as a religious symbol when it reality it was part of the orginal structure. It was subsequently moved to in front of St. Peter’s Church on Barclay Street. I guess NYC Athiests are only politically correct when it comes to Islam.
