Johnny-Come Lately-McCain: The Sickly Smell Of Desperation
michellemalkin.com ^ | 5/13/10 | Michelle Malkin

John McCain is everywhere now preaching the gospel of secure borders. He’s inescapable. And shameless. And desperate. Yesterday, readers forwarded his latest spam e-mail: Where do you stand on border security? My Friend, One of the fundamental responsibilities of our government is to secure our borders so that our citizens, no matter where they live in our country, can be safe and secure. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration and Democrats in Congress have not lived up to the federal government’s constitutional responsibility to secure our borders. So my Arizona colleague, Senator Jon Kyl and I introduced a 10-Point Border Security Plan to secure our border with Mexico against illegal immigration, human smuggling, drug trafficking and the brutal violence associated with the drug cartels. I’d like to know what you think about our nation’s border security and that is why I have put together the 2010 Border Security Survey. I ask that you take a few moments to fill out this survey by following this link.

That slapping sound you hear is the soles of McC’s shoes pounding the pavement as he races furiously to the right.

We should use JUAN as rake behind a truck to smooth the sand in between the two fences on the border to see if anyone left tracks on their way north.

Yes, McPain senses he is out of touch and poly parroting what he believes his BASE wants to hear. The PROBLEM is these SAME PROBLEMS existed when he was pushing AMNESTY. Of course we have Sarah Palin campaigning her rear end off to keep this RINO in position. So much for principles, SARAH PALIN. SARAH, YOU are part of the PROBLEM by keeping two faced RINO’s in position.

Has there ever been a politician that’s principled and truthful?

Please please please John please just retire.

Don’t you think it’s about time?

Don’t you think that by giving the American presidency free to Barack Hussein Obama, but you’ve now done enough against your country?

If you lived 100 more years you couldn’t apologize to me enough for what you have done.

Fortunately he has a bungee cord attached so he can snap back to be with his friends across the aisle as soon as the primary is done. Let's hope he does it as a lame duck.

The media shills all seem to think us folks in flyover country are mad as hell at the incumbents. I think that as usual they are wrong.
We are mad as hell at career politicians and are doing our best to remove them and their stench from Washington.

“Has there ever been a politician that’s principled and truthful?”

Maybe. But it’s a fact, few are as corrupt or deceitful as John McCain.

Indians, Lobbyists and Arizona Politics...OH MY!

Talk about the pot calling the kettle....

“The President says he wants to address the issue, but so far he has not taken action. He has not devoted the resources necessary to secure our border, so we are calling for real action and resources as outlined in our 10-Point Plan.”

Don’t believe this old liar again, Arizona!!

McQueeg is ahead in the polls. Hayworth’s a longshot.

I do hope McCain gets kicked to the curb, though.

From the article...J.D. Hayworths response (Love it!)

Hayworth, who’s proposals in Congress on immigration reform focused on enforcing current laws while McCain’s suggested a path to citizenship for illegals laughed at the new McCain stance. “That thing was just hilarious,” he said, adding that McCain is “contorting politically.” But he liked the theme so much, that his campaign is going to put up a new website that they say will pit old McCain positions on key issues with what he’s now saying on the campaign trail. He said it will be called something like: “TheDangedTruth.com.”

Senator Jon Kyl and I introduced a 10-Point Border Security Plan

Shameless hypocrisy personified by both these weasels. Both led the fight for amnesty in 2007 and they'll both be pro-amnesty again if they can hoodwink enough Arizonans to get Juan six more years.

And the great John Kyl was anti-amnesty in 2006, anti-amnesty while running for reelection in 2006, but strongly pro-amnesty in 2007 after he won six more years. Two of a kind and not a word either of them say on this issue can be believed.

Everyone should be forced to watch Juan at the Senate hearing with Goldman. He was so lost I remember thinking “thank God he’s not the president.” Then I remembered that the reality (Obama) is even worse. I’m tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. The fact I was forced to vote for McCain makes me sick.
