WASHINGTON D.C- Beau Biden, the 41-year-old son of the US Vice President, and Delaware Attorney General, has been hospitalized Tuesday May 11, reports said.
The Whitehouse said the eldest son of the Vice President, Joe Biden, was alert and awake with his family by his side, including the VP.
“Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden is at Christiana Medical Center undergoing treatment at present,” the vice president’s office said in a statement.
“He is alert and awake, and communicating with his parents and his wife, who are with him. We will provide more details as they become available.”
The popular figure was close to running for his father’s Senate Seat in the US State of Delaware, vacated after Biden became the Vice President of the United States under Barack Obama.
Beau Biden is also a Captain in the Delaware Army National Guard and a member of the Democratic Party.
