Phoenix Suns enter immigration fray, to wear 'Los Suns' Jerseys in Game 2

PHOENIX - The Phoenix Suns will wear "Los Suns" on their jerseys Wednesday for Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals, owner Robert Sarver said, "to honor our Latino community and the diversity of our league, the state of Arizona, and our nation."
The decision to wear the jerseys on the Cinco de Mayo holiday stems from a law passed by the Arizona Legislature and signed by Gov. Jan Brewer that has drawn widespread criticism from Latino organizations and civil rights groups that say it could lead to racial profiling of Hispanics. President Barack Obama has called the law "misguided."

Stupidity such as this should be rewarded.
Given that 70% of the residents support the law, perhaps that percentage of the population should boycott their games. Let’s see how well they do, with only ~30% of the stands filled.

This “Los” crap isn’t anything new. We see it here all the time “Los Lakers” “Los Spurs” Heck I’m rooting for the Lakers so I don’t care what the Suns do, but they did play well yesterday, gave quite a thumping to the Spurs..if we make it to the Western Conference finals they might be our opponent

Maybe the caucasian NBA players should stand up and request a jersey for their heritage as well.....
