What if Obama was aware of a bribe to fill IL Senate seat?

The real reason the judge and Fitzgerald want to bury Obama's testimony is that if he was indeed aware of a bribe, and failed to report it, he would be guilty of the federal crime of misprision of a felony, which is the same charge Arlen Specter has made against Joe Sestak,

U.S. Code Title 18, Section 4:

Misprision of a Felony: Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

What if he was?

Our media would cover it up. Angry activists and judges would chide us for using “politics” in a crass attempt to topple the first black President.

It pays to have big rich friends in powerful places.

I’m sure Eric Holder will get right on this.

” I’m sure Eric Holder will get right on this. “

Holder makes it nearly impossible to prosecute any criminals.

Exactly why the judge should not have ruled the way he did. Why should the President be allowed to break laws the rest of us would be punished for?

He knew. But, no judge will hear the case.

Holder has more important things to do than to prosecute criminals...he has to redress the grievances of the last 391 years.

Fitzgerald is probably still mad at himself for failing to bring down Dick Cheney in his "Plamegate" investigation--the least he can do is to give a free pass to Obama.

Obama would get away with mass-murder considering that the MSM and the three branches of government would cover his a$$ at all times.

“Why should the President be allowed to break laws the rest of us would be punished for?”

It is racist that you even ask that.

"It is racist that you even ask that."

I don't give a you know what what they call me but I sure do want to know what exactly our President did!If he committed a felony then he would need to step down or be impeached. I don't care what color any person is I do want to what crimes they may have committed!

I think Nixon told David Frost that “when the President does it, it isn’t illegal”—but Obama was not President when he was discussing his Senate seat. “President-Elect” is not an official position in the government...and he technically wasn’t even that until the electoral college cast its ballots.
