South of the border, down Mexico way, a new and savage revolution rages just beyond our inspection lanes. After less than five years of fighting, estimates of the dead have reached 22,000. The rate of killing accelerates each month. And Washington covers its eyes like a kid at a scary movie. Well, the Mexican narco-insurgency, in which well-armed guerrilla forces confront the authority and presence of the state, is our No. 1 security challenge. The chaos in northern Mexico has far deeper implications for our country than Islamist terror or even an Iranian nuclear capability (as grim as those threats are). The rule of law has collapsed from Tijuana on the Pacific's edge to Matamoros and the Gulf of Mexico. Major cities are now "ungoverned spaces," as our diplomats refer tidily to distant trouble spots.

Have our politicians and diplomats live in the border towns, with their familys, and you will see some changes.
But they’re poor and don’t know any better. They’re just looking for a better life. Throw open the borders, give them a free education and free healthcare; everything will improve.
As these narco terrorists come accross our southern border, we are now told we can’t even ask for their papers out of fear we may offend them by racially profiling them.
Front Line - Politicians, just as you say.
Behind them returning military units all veterans of Afghanistan and/or Iraq. Thrown in some SEALS and Green Berets, Rangers, Force Recon and USAF SOF teams and a couple AC-130’s (for fun).
535 politicians would be spread thin along the border so we can throw in some Secretaries and Under-Secretaries and Pay Czars and such to fill out the front.
I think something would happen in a short period of time too.
It’s those pesky Amish again. They’re so rowdy!
Had enough? When will it be enough? When will the time come to re-legalize drugs?
Nice phrase - would nicely fit a placard.
We’d want to make sure none of those politicians on the border were armed since we all know that guns cause violence.
You MUST see this photo expose of a Mexican Cartlel house after it was raided.
[snip]Their money can buy the best politicians, the best cops, the best judges, whatever they need they just throw down stacks of cash and it is theirs!

And of course the drug dealers get ALL of their machine guns through the “gun show loophole!”
New tagline...
But, if we just banned guns everything would be honky dory.
That is mind boggling. You can’t tell me they didn’t buy politicians to look the other way and to advance “amnesty”.
For those who have leaned about Communism and how the Communist undermine a society in order to take it over, this makes perfect sense. I am not talking about Mexico. I am talking about the USA.
Political correctness is part of that effort, simply one of their tactics. They use our culture of morality and fair play to undermine us. Political correctness works because we don't want to be "mean" to anyone. They then push that to the extreme so that we can no longer even express an opinion, make normal judgements about people and groups, concentrate on the most likely perps of terrorism and crime, etc. Instead, they harass the public under the guise of protecting them, like at out airports. In short, they want passive masses with turmoil and chaos swirling around them. Under those circumstances it is much easier to impose a strong central government to "protect the people."
Later, it sometimes becomes necessary to murder millions of those masses in order to protect the regime, not the people.
The powers that be have no intention of EVER effectively securing our borders....though they will use the ‘intention’ as a means of blackmail in order to get amnesty...i.e., Bush’s quote that in order to have border security we MUST have ‘comprehensive immigration reform’(amnesty). Of course there is also the slick flip-side rhetoric that ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ (amnesty) can’t be considered until the border is secured FIRST, i.e., secure the border and amnesty is a shoe in.
Frankly, I’m not buying either and if Americans want the border secured, I believe we are going to have to do it ourselves while continuing to fight against ANY kind of amnesty legislation.
“That is mind boggling. You cant tell me they didnt buy politicians to look the other way and to advance amnesty.
Anyone remember that famous photo of Telecoms tycoon Carlos Slim Helu (the world’s richest man...lebanonese/Mexican) with Bill & Hillary Clinton at one of their fundraisers?
This guy has to be buying some politicians. It’s bad enough we are buying his products...
[snip]Mr Slims vast family empire controls more than 200 companies spanning industries including banking, telecoms, road-building and restaurants.
His influence is all-encompassing in his homeland of Mexico, and it is rapidly spreading across the border into the USA and beyond. \\...he formed Grupo Carso, which now owns retail outlets such as********* Sanborns and Sears, as well as a raft of manufacturing businesses.
Last year he extended his tentacles into North America when he announced plans to inject £250 million into the struggling national newspaper, ***********the New York Times, in which he already owned a 6.4 per cent stake. “
(no bias there!!! lol)

The soldiers should be well armed ... not the politicians! They might hurt themselves.
