A lifelong conservative, as a 9 year old I kicked my Catholic school teacher’s ass in a debate about progressive taxation (she was in favor) and voted for Ronald Reagan in my class' presidential election that same year.

I was elected class president in the 8th grade, but was unceremoniously impeached and removed from office by my teacher for inactivity. Evidently, even then I lived by Jefferson's famous dictum: "that government which governs best governs least".

I also converted my old-school, blue-collar Democrat parents. They are now right-wing zealots like me.

I love my God, my country, my family, and the liberty given to me by the grace of the Lord, codified by the brilliance of the Framers, and secured by the bravery of the warriors who’ve defended it throughout our nation’s history.
