Cohen: What Duncan Hunter, his kind don’t understand
SD News Network ^ | 5/1/10 | Andy Cohen

Posted on 05/01/2010 8:52:33 AM PDT by pissant

Last weekend, Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) spoke at a Tea Party gathering in Ramona, CA. Hunter was asked whether he thought that U.S. born children of illegal immigrants should be deported along with their parents.

Hunter said: “I would have to, yes. And let me tell you why. You can say, ‘You are a mean guy. That’s not a humanitarian thing to do.’ We simply cannot afford what we’re doing right now. We just can’t afford it. California is going under. We’re not being mean. We’re just saying, ‘It takes more than just walking across the border to become an American citizen.’ It’s within our souls.”

Rep. Brian Bilbray (R-Calif.), when asked about Hunter’s comments, agreed, telling the North County Times that “if the parents are deported, their U.S.-born children should go with them unless the parents can find a legal resident guardian who can take care of the kids.”

What Hunter, Bilbray and the supporters of the Arizona anti-immigration law want everyone to believe is that all immigrants are criminals. What they don’t want you to know is that the overwhelming majority of immigrants — legal and illegal alike — are good, decent, hard working people simply looking to make a better life for themselves and their families. They pay their taxes (and in the case of illegal workers, without getting any of the benefits that most taxpayers are entitled to), are active in their church communities, and their children excel in school.

Mmmm, yes, good decent people who are just taking advantage of the things that are offered. I see brand new Silvarado trucks with chrome rims and expensive tires dropping kids off at school in time for the taxpayer provided breakfasts. I see new cars and trucks lined up outside the St Mary’s Food Bank picking up the “free food” that is offered. I see people sitting in the emergency rooms taking advantage of the “free healthcare”. Just ordinary hard working folks that get paid in cash and never even think of contributing to this country. I also see these same good folks standing in line at Safeway at the Western Union to ship a couple hundred dollars down to Mexico, dollars that should have been spent helping the Arizona economy that is being bled to death by these “good, hard working people.”

We are not talking about “immigrates” we are talking about illgal invaders to our country aka illegal immigrants. What these people don’t understand is that the 14th amendment was not wrote to give everyone birthright citizenship and I know if when it was passed if they thought this would’ve ever happened they would’ve wrote it more stringent. Both parents need to be citizens or legal residents of the country before birthright citizenship is granted.

The main reason why the 'Rats - and their sycophant Andy Cohen - oppose the Arizona legislation so vehemently is because it gums up their voting fraud schemes, the brazen ones that include sending non-citizens to the polls to vote for them. If illegal immigrants in large numbers don't want to go to the polls for fear of being apprehended, it forces the 'Rats to come up with alternative methods to steal the same numbers of votes.

And, contrary to Cohen's bigoted stereotypes, not all illegal immigrants are "browns." Latin Americans as a group comprise several races and combinations of them.

The illegal aliens are a bipartisan scandal. DemocRATS want the votes and dependency, while many establishment Republicans want cheap labor for their campaign contributors.

What Hunter, Bilbray and the supporters of the Arizona anti-immigration law...

The scumbag Cohen calls it an "anti-immigration law". Who cares what he has to say after that?

...many establishment Republicans want cheap labor for their campaign contributors.

You might be surprised at how many 'Rat campaign contributors like cheap labor for their businesses as well.

Despite 'Rat efforts to demonize the GOP as the "party of Big Business and Wall Street," the reality is that corporations of all sizes and types of employees contribute to either or both parties.

Americans, to the detriment of our country, use to believe this hogwash. If this were true, states along the border would not be broke and over run with crimanals. Hispanic gangs in US border towns are 60% illegal immigrants.

My brother is an attorney. When he was in law school, he worked on a case where a family that had been here in California illegally faced deportation. The parents came here dirt poor with their two children. The father worked in the fields as a picker for several years, before finding a job at a McDonald’s where he used root through the dumpster to find food to feed his family. He eventually found a job cleaning a school. In the country illegally, he was forced to use someone else’s social security number in order to get on the payroll. He paid his taxes, but received no benefits. He was a hard worker and well-liked, and as such he was promoted several times. He also volunteered his time to clean his church, eventually being asked to lead a crew of 20 to clean various churches around the area.

He was forced to use someone else's social security number? No, but the American who's social security number he stole went through hell to recover from their identity being stolen. Any amount of taxes illegals pay is far less than the cost of educating their children. It's one of the reasons Americans have been FORCED to take action.
