Skip to comments.Cohen: What Duncan Hunter, his kind don’t understand

Last weekend, Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) spoke at a Tea Party gathering in Ramona, CA. Hunter was asked whether he thought that U.S. born children of illegal immigrants should be deported along with their parents.
Hunter said: I would have to, yes. And let me tell you why. You can say, You are a mean guy. Thats not a humanitarian thing to do. We simply cannot afford what were doing right now. We just cant afford it. California is going under. Were not being mean. Were just saying, It takes more than just walking across the border to become an American citizen. Its within our souls.
Rep. Brian Bilbray (R-Calif.), when asked about Hunters comments, agreed, telling the North County Times that if the parents are deported, their U.S.-born children should go with them unless the parents can find a legal resident guardian who can take care of the kids.
What Hunter, Bilbray and the supporters of the Arizona anti-immigration law want everyone to believe is that all immigrants are criminals. What they dont want you to know is that the overwhelming majority of immigrants legal and illegal alike are good, decent, hard working people simply looking to make a better life for themselves and their families. They pay their taxes (and in the case of illegal workers, without getting any of the benefits that most taxpayers are entitled to), are active in their church communities, and their children excel in school.

“What Hunter, Bilbray and the supporters of the Arizona anti-immigration law want everyone to believe is that all immigrants are criminals.”
They are called ILLEGAL ALIENS for a reason you douchebag!
And Hunter is absolutely right. If republicans would take this stand “en masse” they would indeed win the 100 house seats Boehner is talking about.
“What Hunter, Bilbray and the supporters of the Arizona anti-immigration law want everyone to believe is that all immigrants are criminals. What they dont want you to know is that the overwhelming majority of immigrants legal and illegal alike....”
First the author says that not all immigrants are griminals, then later he does make the distinction that some are ILLEGAL. Doesn’t being ILLEGAL mean that you broke the law? Doesn’t that make you a criminal?
Or in this case a CRIMMIGRANT?
Indeed. ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE CRIMINALS. THis dipsh*t that wrote this piece can’t get himself to type the word ‘illegal’.
Yeah, here's one young scholar, fresh from writing his thesis about "Shakespeare's Use of Dramatic Character Foreshadowing in King Lear"
Jay Severin uses the word crimalien.
>> the overwhelming majority of immigrants legal and illegal alike are good, decent, hard working people simply looking to make a better life for themselves and their families
Most Americans are decent, hard working people simply looking to make a better life too! But our decks are awash and we are sinking in a sea of debt and just can’t afford to support illegals anymore. The “American Dream” isn’t a suicide pact.
It isn’t like they’re fleeing political or religious persecution and we have some moral imperative to save them. They just want to take our money and send it home. They don’t care about us or our country. We’re just a giant ATM for them.
I think I’m going to slap the next person who says we hate immigrants.
Cohen - another secular humaninst who cannot understand basic facts of demographics and lives in the utopian world view of Marxism.
I pulled up next to a van full of guys who looked pretty similar to that about two years ago at a gas station on I10 in Phoenix. Yeah...it was a long five minutes.
that’s going to be about a 50-50 chance its a Republican too.
The part Libs never can acknowledge is that with the earned income tax credit being upped to middle class levels, the sevices used nearly always outpace the taxation paid.
It’s a deficit, in probably 95% of the time...
What puts it over the top is the drug crime, the untaxed billions traded, the social, health, legal and incarceration costs it brings.
Think about how much a home value or business value goes down when gangs and/or illegals come. Salinas, CA is a great example. Citizens don’t want to live there and it becomes a Latino Detroit.
This idiot wants everyone to believe that all illegals are just immigrants. It's an anti-illegal alien law. If it's illegal, it's a crime. People who commit crimes are called criminals.
Gotta be an Alinsky tactic.
Just a reminder of past violence by the squatter support squad.
Here is the infamous incident outside of Montebello High School, where the illegals and their supported raised the Mexican flag above the inverted American flag.
Here are some of our videos showing the TRUE NATURE of this invasion.
Illegals and supporters take down American flag in Maywood, CA (Aug. 26, 2006)
Illegals riot in MacArthur Park May 1, 2007
Illegal immigration supporters abuse American flags Dallas May 1, 2007
No, those who follow the rules and obey immigration laws are welcomed.
What they dont want you to know is that the overwhelming majority of immigrants legal and illegal alike are good, decent, hard working people simply looking to make a better life for themselves and their families.
Yep. And when ever a criminal thug dies while committing robbery, rape or murder, several female relatives crawl out from under the refrigerator to wax eloquently of how the young lad "was just turning his life around and going straight."
Libs always leave out the "illegal" part of the equation.
There's really no use arguing with the leftist Demagogues. They'll play the "Nazi" and "race" cards until the entire deck is gone.
