APRIL 30--In what may be the most entertaining music video homage ever shot in a war zone, a group of American soldiers stationed at a military base in southwest Afghanistan star in a lip-synced version of Lady Gaga's hit "Telephone." The video, which yesterday began to spread online, was filmed recently inside what appears to be a garage at the Forward Operating Base in Farah Province. Posted to YouTube a week ago, the 3:45 production--complete with props, signs, and costumes--features an all-male cast from the 82nd Airborne Division.

Good on ya, mates!
ROFL.
THAT was uncalled for. :*(
If there’s ANYONE to blame, it’s HolyO and Congress. They aren’t funding our people properly—and they are straddling the fence on whether to end this war or not. Our military is the best in the world and in history—less than 10,000 lives lost since all this began?? How many wars in history can claim that? Some battles themselves were in the hundreds of thousands of casualties! :-(
Are those soldiers of the don’t ask don’t tell variety?
I’m just sayin.
I still like “Project Numa Numa”
That is just soldiers enjoying what little personal time they have and improvising their own fun!!!!!!! You can’t stay “condition red” all the time and remain combat effective.
The wonderful grunts of the 82nd don’t make the strategy or policy. They implement it to the best of their ability with blood, sweat, and tears so you can pound your keys in comfort. Pray for our troops!

Oh, those troops.
I'm happy for you, "Telephone," and imma let you finish, but "Kosovo" is the best Army music video of all time. OF ALL TIME!
Loved it!
There goes “Dont Ask Dont Tell”! LOLOL
The very fact that these guys can cut loose and retain their sense of humor in the midst of madness and still be so dedicated to the mission speaks volumes about how great America is. Absolutely hilarious!
This is my favorite:

Too cool!
I agree, it's very good, but it's a non US unit. Nordic I think, by the Viking Ship shoulder patch on some of their left shoulders.
This one "Is this the way to Amarillo", is also quite good. Done by British Royal Dragoon Guards.
"Electric Avenue" is not bad either. The Ding Dong Song is good, if a might "racy", with light stick abuse. Even has some ossifers in it. :) Even the AF puts in an effort, but it could be better. Pilots!.
prolly not:
“The video, which can be viewed above, was the brainchild of Aaron Melcher, a married 24-year-old soldier who graduated in 2004 from North Carolina’s Gramercy Christian School.”
The biggest issue that a lot of people have is that hetero men act gay as a form of humor. Don’t ask me why, they just do. It is a big act. If anyone actually tried to be gay around hetero men, it would not be good. That said, hetero men tell gay jokes, mimic gay things, etc. Doing so has no impact on who they are.
Studying the psychology would be fascinating. I have also seen gay men do this as well (purposely put on an act looking gay...I know it sounds weird) so it is something biological.
Women don’t understand it and that is fine. Gays want to think it is something more, and they are wrong. Men sexually know what they like and don’t: it isn’t a gay thing. This is a testing of a person in an odd way.
