WASHINGTON (April 23) -- President Barack Obama and his family are heading to North Carolina for a short vacation.
The Obamas planned to escape the confines of the White House at midday Friday, flying south to Asheville, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina.
The last time Obama was there he prepared for a debate and rallied supporters during the final month of his presidential campaign. He complained at the time that the golf courses looked great, but he didn't have time to play.
He's going to get that chance this weekend.

More golf. Sure am glad he doesn’t let this get in the way of doing his job. Then again, perhaps this is for the best. Keep him away from doing more damage. This guy is a pathetic joke and he and his ilk (along with ALL the RINO’s) make me want to puke.
When he’s on vacation he spends less of our money than when he is working.
From what I understand, it is now a “right” to have vacations! Besides, imagine the stress of turning America into a 3rd world toilet before November?! Must be exhausting!
