Can someone sue Congress to enforce the health care reform bill re their coverage?

The health care reform that Congress passed and Barack Obama signed into law has a provision that some say would force Congress immediately to have their health insurance terminated and get their coverage through an exchange (no requirement in bill that an exchange actually exists). They've gotten a ruling from their personnel dept that they don't have to do this from years even though the plain text of the law says something else.

Is there a way to sue them to enforce the law as they wrote it? Who would have standing to bring the law suit? It would be really fun to watch the DemoRats scream and holler but who ever brought the suit would probably have the political classes and their MSM allies go after them to destroy them in every way possible.

One way to deal with this is to find a federal employee or federal retiree who gets his health insurance through the provisions of the FEHB.

The complaint would be that the superannuated members of Congress constitute an overburden of people with serious health issues, and the law says that right now they don't qualify for FEHB ~ and then pursue it at the agency level. The covered retiree or employee would certainly have a valid claim that his or her premiums would be lower if Congress critters weren't eating up all the goodies.

The 27th Amendment, however, suggests that Obamakkkare can't be made effective in any respect (due to the use of the nonseverability clause) until after the election this November.

That would be one legal response the Congersscritters could make about why their medical insurance shouldn't be cancelled ~

Perhaps the best thing would be to simply refuse and not pay the penalty for not having health insurance. If large numbers of Americans would do this it would clog the courts..they can’t practically arrest millions of people. We need civil disobedience on a large scale.

They won’t arrest people for non-compliance; they will fine them. If you don’t pay the fine, they can go after your property ... cheaper and smarter to pay the fine. If you cannot afford to pay for the insurance, there will be assistance, providing you can prove insufficient income.
