Texas alone will have as many votes as (or probably more electoral votes than) all of New England put together in 2012.

Texas should have either 35 or 36 EC votes if’n the inhabitants to return their census forms.

Romney’s been working hard on NH. Has also had a vacation home there for years, and NH is part of the Boston media market—and Mitt of course was guv in MA.

With McCain out, Romney gets the majority of those 33%...don’t conflate 2008 with 2012...Romney has a good head start...conservatives will have to catch up !

New Hampshire is the pissant state which resurrected McCain's dying campaign. Before that, it picked George Bush over Reagan (1980).

Reagan won NH in 1980, getting an absolute majority of the vote in a crowded foeld that included Bush.

One problem with NH is that within a 24-year period as of 2012, it will have only voted Republican for President twice (1988 & 2000).

No, he doesn't. This is ca-ca polling attempting to set the conservative candidate for 2012.

That's how much Sarah Palin scares the libs.

Why does Romney as in RomneyCARE have any appeal these days? I don’t get it.

I’m trying to figure that out myself. I see no appeal to romney whatsoever.
