Report: Syria, Hizbullah On Full Alert

The Kuwaiti anti-Syrian daily Al-Siyassa reports on a full general alert in the Syrian military across the country, and also among Hizbullah fighters in southern Lebanon, Beq'a, and Dahiya.

The alert is due to fear of attack by Israel, against the backdrop of claims that Syria has transferred Scud missiles to Hizbullah.

I'm pretty sure Al-Siyassa was the Kuwaiti paper that broke the SCUD story a couple weeks ago. Probably should be watching to see if there are any reports of reserve call ups in Syria. Almost sounds like a full mobilization.

It was reported early this week the Assad was going to travel to Egypt to meet with Mubarak, but that trip was cancelled late yesterday afternoon. I wonder if this general alert had something to do with it?

In my opinion Syria is always on full alert if not then they should be.. All of those devil countries should be blown off the map.. God will take care of them one day and he will use his chosen people the Israeli's..

Any word on Israel’s mobilization. If they aren’t calling up the reserves then it won’t be more than a hit and run. If they are calling up the reserves it will be a vacation in Damascus.
