Students arrested in protest over state's immigration legislation(More violence from the left)

PHOENIX -- Protests, physical and verbal, are erupting at the Capitol and around the country to the legislative approval of a wide-reaching illegal immigration bill.

Today, students from Arizona State University were arrested after chaining themselves to the doors of the Old Capitol. That followed a rally by various religious and community leaders about 75 yards away urging Gov. Jan Brewer to veto the measure which now sits on her desk.

Petitions with more than 80,000 signatures urging a veto were hand delivered to gubernatorial press aide Paul Senseman who met with them privately. Brewer was in Tucson on Tuesday.

In Tucson, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik pronounced the legislation to be "political fornicaboobery." Dupnik said his officers already have the right -- and do -- stop people who they believe are in this country illegally.

And outside the state, Roger Mahoney, the cardinal of Los Angeles, said the legislation amounts to "reverting to German Nazi and Russian Communist techniques whereby people are required to turn one another in to the authorities on any suspicion of documentation.''

Senseman deflected all questions about what the governor is thinking and whether she would be willing to buck her own Republican Party: The measure cleared the House last week on a strictly party-line vote; in the Senate, Carolyn Allen of Scottsdale was the only Republican in opposition.

Come on, Jan, sign the bill.
The 80k signatures are probably all illegals.
We’ll see if she has the balls to sign it.

I think that’s what they’re taught in school out there.

In Tucson, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik pronounced the legislation to be "political fornicaboobery."

July 2007 (Fox News)

SEAN HANNITY: ...I want to understand you clearly here. If we built the double-layer fence, if we hired 20,000 new agents, hire them, train them, get them on the border, if we used the Predator drones, if we used surveillance cameras and we did it across the entire border, you don't think we'd have the capability of having 100 percent security at our borders?

CLARENCE DUPNIK: I'm not convinced that we could do that, Sean.

This Dupnik character needs to RETIRE...clearly he doesn't have the fight in him to be a Sheriff.

I think it's a cross between Spanglish and Ebonics.

Seriously, many, many of the students are illegals; brought by illegal parents when they were young.

This is just crazy. If an officer has reason to believe a person has stolen property, or is committing some other crime, the officer can question that person. But, apparently, if an officer has reason to believe a person is in the country illegally, the officer shouldn’t be allowed to question him. This country gets more ridiculous every day, at the insistence of whining liberal idiots.

Well put, skulls of mush until their folks force them out on their own. Then it’ll take a few more years for them to experience reality.

I am sick of sedition of this nature. It is time to add exile to the US Code. And send this SOB and the "Students" away.

The violence will be fomented by the Mexican government and its agents here - MALDEF, La Raza, MEChA, etc.

Make no mistake about it, this is a political takeover of the Southwest, by any means necessary.

Any resistance to this slow motion invasion will be violently opposed - by the shock troops on the ground: the illegals themselves, their anchor baby children, the sympathizers who dare to call themselves "Americans".

Mexican culture is all about aggression - from below if necessary, but always relentless, never conceding.

If any flexibility is shown by Arizona - backing down, watering down - this will mean weakness to the Reconquistas within the Mexican government, and they will turn up the heat further.

Brewer must sign the bill and it must be resolutely enforced. Only when they have been physically pushed out of the state will the message be clear, and they will respect it.

In Mexico, only the strong get respect. Arizona has to remain strong.

“political fornicaboobery

Now they are just making up words!”

They’ve been messing with the English language for too long.
Aliens don’t have to speak it and their supporters bastardize it.

‘Immigration reform’...is Amnesty
‘path to legalization’...ditto

But you’ll never get John McCain or these others to admit it.

According to the Cardinal, it would make you a “Nazi” to turn in your neighbor if you knew he was the robber they were looking for.

What it boils down to is that these Open Borders types just do not believe a crime has been committed and that sovereignty is meaningless. It’s another aspect of the Communist disavowal of private property that you see in Dims telling homeless people to go squat in empty foreclosed homes even though they are private property now owned by a bank.
