We should demand to know who it was who produced that NIE back in 2007 that stated that Iran had ceased its weapons programs.
Those people did it for purely political reasons. They should be tried for treason and executed.
No telling, but I don’t think the Obama administration wants another Iraq on their hands. But might by a slim chance do something that’s short, sweet, and pointless. Seems to be what Obama does best besides bait different bunches of people like Israel and conservatives.
