"Rod and Patti Blagojevich have long claimed they dipped into their own checking account to pay for personal home renovations set up by a company of convicted businessman Tony Rezko.
But a newly released, 91-page filing from federal prosecutors alleges that Rezko secretly funneled tens of thousands of dollars to the former first couple by setting up a sham $40,000 real estate commission for Patti Blagojevich. Prosecutors say the money was then used to pay for work on the Ravenswood Manor home.
The company overseeing the work on the home was a Rezko company, Chicago Construction Services."

Reading the proffer now. It’s sickening to read. These crooked Chicago politicians were hooked up with investment firms,pension planners,lawyers,hospitals and others. All working together to scheme and plot on kickbacks on the taxpayer’s dime. But we are suppose to believe that Obama,a state senator from the Chicago sewer,never did anything remotely wrong and smells like a rose.

Blagojevich allegedly told her not to worry.
“Yeah, that’s, you negotiate that,” the government quoted Blagojevich as saying. “I’d like a 4-year contract for a million a year or somethin’... Or 750 or whatever. It’d have to be good. Obama’s got excess money, he just gives them more money.”
Blagojevich also allegedly described his negotiations over Obama’s preferred candidate, identified previously as Valerie Jarrett. Blagojevich was hopeful he could be named as head of the Department of Health and Human Services in exchange for Jarrett’s nomination.
“So (Jarrett’s) holding Health and Human Services, and I’m holding a U.S. Senate seat. Okay?” Blagojevich allegedly said. “She’s holding hers with two hands, just kinda clinging to, you know, little pieces of it. Me, I’ve got the whole thing wrapped around my arms, mine, okay?”

A newly released court document says former Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s wife paid more than $38,000 toward remodeling their home two days after convicted fixer and campaign fundraiser Tony Rezko sent her $40,000.
It’s the document that Blagojevich’s defense attorneys didn’t want to reveal: the prosecution’s road map for his upcoming corruption trial.
But a federal judge ordered it released and the document gives new insight into just how deep Patti Blagojevich was supposedly involved in the alleged corruption, reports CBS station WBBM-TV.

The SEIU stuff is at the end of the proffer. It’s very obvious that Obama sent Stern to do his bidding. This was interesting:

hmmmm...this tells me that far from Obama not playing Blago’s game for his senate seat(as we have been told by the press and the WH) Obama indeed was ‘playing the game’. Obama just wasn’t offering what Blago thought he deserved.

Thanks for the ping to this tape. It’s interesting that Kelly’s former attorney now thinks the prosecution’s case is weak. Wasn’t it Kelly who blew the lid on the whole pay to play’ scheme in the first place and then mysteriously died(committed suicide?). Most of the panelists seemed to think the prosecution’s case was going no-where. I’d like to know if Fritz has some ‘pay to pay’ schemes of his own going on...lol. Is he going to lose this case on purpose so that Zero,Rahm and Andy Stern are not implicated or called to testify?
