CNN said that it's in a "category of one" among television news networks in how it delivers non-biased news, and promised to continue emphasizing its journalism despite a ratings free-fall on its flagship network.
The network's sales pitch to advertisers on Tuesday came two weeks after the Nielsen Co. revealed that CNN's weekday prime-time viewership during the first three months of the year was down 42 percent from 2009.

Ironic that it considers itself a “category of one” when it’s viewership is on an asymptotic curve towards an “audience of one”.
CNN may be “non-partisan” in this clown’s eyes, but it’s also “non-factual”.

You know, I was going to simply reply with "Bwaa ha ha" but... This is such an outrageous lie it has passed through insulting and funny to just plain sad.
Sad? Yes, sad. It is a sorry state of affairs that this business is apparently so out of touch with its market that it doesn't even see how it is regarded in that market.
I'm sure they see the writing on the wall - declining business (in this case viewership) - yet the controlling powers that be at CNN apparently refuse to acknowledge the causes for the decline. By not addressing them CNN, like any other business, is bound to fail. Maybe it is because they are so left-biased. That is, they are so anti-capitalist that their political bent has finally bled over into the running of their business, not just the "stuff" they shovel at the public. If that is the case, then they are doomed. Personal likes and dislikes are one thing, but as they say "business is business." Apparently CNN is going to ignore this time-tested adage at their own peril.
However, given their worthless, actually harmfully socialist bias, their fading away is a good thing for the Country and the industry.
He represents the insight and perspective that have made CNN the loser it is today.
You know, what’s really unsettling about this is- he’s sincere. He honestly doesn’t GET how biased is CNN’s point of view. It’s becoming clear many educated people have lost the ability- or never had the ability, to T H I N K.
Amen, to “viewer of one”. That is what he means: the one viewer they have says they are non-partisan so in their survey, 100% of their viewers say they are non-partisan.
I agree that CNN still does not get it. This is the best news I have read this morning.
