I live in New York, and for the “generic” Republican candidate to be doing THIS well against a Democrat means a win in my book. Now is the time to put a conservative up against this pathetically weak candidate and steal a seat in the Welfare State. It would be stunning.

The NY GOP needs to find someone. I would take Pataki who is not a bad guy.
