Will the firms who did this also get slapped for hiring illegals in the first place?
It would be good if they did. These companies should be fined for all of the costs imposed on government by illegals. These companies are all guilty of shifting part of their labor costs onto the taxpayers. I'd make them pay for all of the "free" schooling, health care, welfare, housing assistance, etc. that these illegals cost us, and then a very hefty penalty on top of that. Suck it out of the company owners' personal bank accounts if you have to.
I would dare say half the problem of illegals is caused by all these companies that want to hire them. Get rid of the demand for illegals and that will make some dent in the supply of illegals.
Never mind the employees wages. They're lucky to get paid at all. They don't belong here anyway. The employers are working against the people of their own country, and I think they should pay a heavy price for it.
No hiring illegals. Stop the incentives. Stop the invasion.
In an ideal reality-based world, they would. In Obamaland, probably not. Because if they did, Pedro would lose his job...therefore, Pedro wouldn’t report his boss, and so the whole question is moot.
