Rasmussen Reports has a new feature tracking media reports on Republican Gov. Rick Perry and Democratic nominee former Houston Mayor Bill White...
For the week ending Sunday, March 28, 2010, 79.5% of the media mentions for White were positive, and only 20.5% were negative. The details are not yet available, but Rasmussen plans next month to start breaking it down by reporting done by traditional media and by social networking. Since the left still dominates the social networks in Texas, this will be interesting to see if it makes a difference by breaking the numbers down...For Perry, during the same time frame, the coverage was far more mixed: 45.6% of the media mentions were positive, and 54.4% were negative.

That’s all right. The majority of Bill White democrat supporters can’t read english anyway.
I dropped the San Antonio Express News over 3 years ago, and haven’t missed it at all. Over that time I have taken several National “News IQ” tests and have consistently scored in the top percentile. How has this happened? Simple... I get most of my news from internet sites! I don’t watch TV all that much except for movies either.
Certain media outlets such as newspapers and network TV insist on keeping their old, pre-internet, models of news gathering and editing. These methods are dinosaurs and cannot possibly control the national information as they had in the past. They are rapidly becoming irrelevant. Texas newspapers are living in the past “Democrat Model” of the world last seen in Ann Richard’s reign.
I use to get the SAE when I lived in Corpus. But, most Tx large city Newspapers are pro-illegals so the slant is hard to take.
The internet is the only place to get a true perspective of what is really going on in the World.
Thanks for the ping.
Newspapers continue to sell by force of habit. Some consumers “like” to have something to read at breakfast (without having to go farther than the doorstep to get it).
Same as some people watch the 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm “news” programs (which contain around 6 minutes tops of genuine news).
What’s more, after reading/viewing, they are outraged by the distortions and yet are ready to come back again tomorrow for more.
I see the pee pot is weighing in.
Why are we surprised at what the Houston Comicle puts in that bird cage liner???
“This isnt endorsments, it is bias in reporting negative Rick Perry news and predominantly positive Bill White news.”
I am aware that it wasn’t an outright “endorsement” but it wound up being an endorsement, didn’t it?
They have to write for themselves in the Comical...nobody else reads their drivel anymore.
