Authorities were searching today for dozens of people who fled a suspect stash house for illegal immigrants in north Houston after a shooting, police said.
About 50 people are thought to have bolted overnight from the home near the intersection of Vashti and Karen after shots were fired, police said. About 10 people were apprehended

Have a friend from Chavez land (legally and has owned his own business for 20 years) who said a friend of his called a while back. He was locked up somewhere in North Houston and needed $1,500 to buy his way out. He had paid someone to bring him here from Chazez land and they were now holding him hostage in a small jam packed room, no clothes.. My friend got the license number of the truch he was released from and the police told him it was more than likely stolen but they’d give it a shot. Never caught the perps. Hopefully these are the same ones.
