The samples from the 3/11 attack were not eliminated; they were moved to the "TEDAX laboratory"
The Courts of Plaza de Castilla [provincial courts, not the heavily politizied National High Court] have welcomed this Tuesday the renewal of the cause against the former head of the TEDAX and his subordinate, the chemical expert of the unit. Although the TEDAX [officer] that coordinated the tasks of collection of rest of explosive was proposed by the defense, he contradicted his superior.

Court number 43 from Madrid admitted a complaint filed by the Association for Aiding the 3/11 Victims against former head of the TEDAX [EDU], Juan Jesus Sanchez-Manzano, and the chemical expert of the unit, charged with false testimony, omission of their duty of persecuting crimes and cover up by concealment of evidence.
In his testimony before the judge, Sanchez-Manzano affirmed that only 23 samples arrived from the 12 centers of explosion, including two controlled ones, to the National High court because the TEDAX destroyed the other [rests].
According to the peculiar explanation that offered the former captain to justify this massive destruction of evidence is that a sift was peformed in the TEDAX laboratory, a selection that only was surpassed by the rests that were considered useful, whereas the others were considered "simple objects" and it was proceeded to destroy them.
All TEDAX officers that gave testimony after him, at the request of the [private] accusation, denied point after point the words of their former chief. The samples collected in the place of an attack, as the impregnations of water and ketone or the sand from the crater of an explosion, are never eliminated.
What happened to the rests?
However, this Tuesday the testimonies continued with the witnesses proposed by the defense. One hoped, therefore, that they endorsed the affirmations of Sanchez-Manzano. But the result has been the opposite.
The officer in charge of coordinating the reception and selection of objects coming from the explosion scenes has contradicted Sanchez-Manzano. He has explained that such sift was carried out on “the rests of scrap iron, that is to say, on the raw material that is collected, without selection, in the trains. But that the samples that are really are missed, such as cottons with rests of ketone, the sand from the crater, the victims’ clothes, etc, did not suffered such sift, but went directly to the laboratory”, so has related the lawyer of the association of victims, Jose Maria de Pablo. It is for that reason that De Pablo concludes that “the version offered by Sanchez-Manzano" about the disappearance of those rests “because they were sifted and selected” is not true. Therefore, one comes to the beginning point: “What happened to those rests?” Still the testimonies of other members of the TEDAX proposed by the defense are pending, although at the moment they have been suspended.

Arrested in Honduras informer Mario Gascon for attempting electoral boycott
The Honduran Police arrested Sunday Mario Gascon-Aranda, one of the characters of the informers' plot related to the 3/11 attack. Gascon was disguised as a journalist and arrested when he was trying to discourage voters.

The spokesman of the Honduran Police, Orlin Cerrato, has confirmed to Libertad Digital the arrest and later release of the collaborator of the Spanish information services Mario Gascon-Aranda.
According to what has been able to verify LD using several data, among them, the national identity document number, the collaborator of the Spanish information services was taken to Immigration offices after his arrest. The intervention of the consul of Spain prevented his deportation from the country. Finally, the Honduran authorities decided to release him. The mass media and agency offices informed about the arrest adding that he was accused of “getting involved in internal affairs”.
Mario Gascon-Aranda already attracted a considerable attention from the media because of his relation with the plot of police informers around which the official version of the 3/11 attacks is based. Friend of Rafá Zouhier (found guilty in the 3/11 trial), collaborator of different Spanish information services, former Mercedario friar and former manager of a brothel, the story of Mario Gascon would fill several novels.
After the 3/11 attack, Gascon moved to Brazil, from where he sent to different media several and changing versions on his relation with the alleged persons responsible for the attacks of 3/11. Supposedly, he had fled from Spain because he had important information about the massacre of Atocha, which put in risk his life, but afterwards he did not spared reappearing in Spain, from where he tried without success to place new "information" about the alleged Islamist plot which the official version makes responsible for the massacre.
His arrest in Honduras reinforces the suspicions that, in fact, Mario-Gascon never ceased to work for the Spanish information services, playing diverse roles, and that in fact all the story about his flight and later return to Spain was nothing but staging. This raises interesting questions: why was a collaborator of the Spanish information services dedicated to spread before, during and after the 3/11 trial delirious misinformation that always was destined to subtly reinforce the idea that 3/11 was an Islamist attack?
In this occasion, the role that he had to play was the one of a Spanish journalist sent to cover the Honduran elections. Role that apparently would have served him to attempt to boycott the elections, in agreement with the strategy impelled by those in favor of demoted president Zelaya. But that brings into the light very serious data: would the Spanish intelligence services have sent to Honduras one of his collaborators to try to interfere in the democratic elections in which voice was given to the Honduran people? If it were so, it would be an unacceptable interference of the Spanish Government in the internal subjects of a democratic country. Country towards which the government of Rodriguez Zapatero maintains an indefensible position, trying to put pressure on the Honduran democratic authorities in order to restitute in power the coup-participant Manuel Zelaya.

"The treatment given by the State of Right* to the 3/11 case cannot be swallow"

Gabriel Moris has remembered in esRadio the sixth anniversary of 3/11 and thinks that after the treatment given by the State of Right “the reasonable thing would be to begin [the investigations] again from zero”. In addition, he thinks that “anywhere in the world it should be known what the victims have suffered”.

Gabriel Moris, father of one the victims of 3/11, has spoken in “It’s the morning of Federico” on the investigations about 3/11 after six years since the biggest terror attack in the story of Spain. Assessing the evidences that are made public and the treatment given by different public levels “he would bet to play against the totality”, he indicated.
For this reason, he also remarked that “from the judicial point of view, the investigation of the summary, from the point of view of the sentence and the parliamentary commission where political responsibilities were to be explained, in general, the treatment given to the 3/11 case by the State of Right cannot be swallow”. “The reasonable thing would be to begin all from zero”, he sentenced.
In this sense, Moris considered that 3/11 and its investigation “is being silenced in Spain by state-owned mass media, by the press of the Movement*”, which he identified with the SER.

In this way, he pointed out that “it must exist a following step” that happens through “making external the disaster of 3/11 so that the entire world knew what have suffered the victims in this case”.
On his relation with the politicians, Gabriel Moris assured that his only personal communication with one of them was with Maria San-Gil, “who wrote a very affectionate letter of condolence to us”.

In the afternoon [program], “In house of Herrero”, two other direct victims of the attacks told their testimony. Javier Gismero and Lorin Ciuhat remain united from that moment: they shared room in the Gregorio Marañón Hospital and practically the same ailments, both are partially deaf.
Lorin is immigrant and in spite of the promises from the Government four years were needed to regularize his situation. From the moment of the explosion nothing remembers. Javier, however, does: he was carrying a briefcase against his chest, what could have saved his life. "When the dust cloud dissipated, I began to see horrible things. Then I rose, I felt my whole body and I said to myself: Javier, you are alive! I shout asking if somebody needed aid, but could listen nothing: I was deaf".
Neither they are satisfied with the investigation nor with the sentence from the National High Court "Firstly it has to be investigated the weapon of the crime. (...) The Police will have very good professionals, but there will be some that had committed negligence". Also they are convinced that the people who were found guilt for the attack could not have carried it out alone: "Now there is people on the street walking, people we do not know where they are but they are murderers".
Both Javier and Lorin agree that the politicians "they are not with the victims", and so most of the mass media. For that reason they are thankful to "the media that is there and that in addition wonderfully investigates. There are media that do not inform and that do not want to offer news, as for instance, about the tape from the forensic analysis".
They also wanted to thank the Spaniards who six years later remain with the victims offering them their support.
