Obama's enemies: Republicans and the uneducated (Barf Alert)
3 News ^ | 03/26/2010 | Dan Satherley

New research in the US suggests a large minority of Americans hold extreme opinions on president Barack Obama.

A poll by market research company Harris Interactive shows that not only do two in five Americans believe Obama is a "socialist", but one-third still believe he is Muslim.

A full 38 percent believe he is going to take away US citizens' right to hold arms; 29 percent that he wants to sell-out the US to a "one-world government"; 27 percent that he resents the country's heritage; and 23 percent that he is a racist and anti-American, alike. But this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Again, 23 percent of Americans believe he wants to use a terrorist attack or economic collapse to take "dictatorial powers"; one-fifth say he is doing "many of the things" that Adolf Hitler did; and 14 percent believe he is none other than the Anti-Christ. That's almost one in every seven.

Perhaps the least surprising discovery from the poll of 2320 adults across the US is that views on Obama closely reflect the respondent's political affiliation and education.

Republicans predictably view Obama less favourably than Democrats; but more tellingly, the less education a person has, the likely they are to agree with a negative statement about the president – in every single category polled, without exception.

Independent voters' views generally fall between the two extremes, whilst voters with post grad qualifications are in some cases four times more likely to side with Obama than those with only a high school education or less.

Poll respondents' answers were weighted to bring them into line with population demographics. Harris Interactive says because the selected respondents were chosen from a larger pool of participants, no mathematical margin of error can be inferred

Leftists always tout that they have a higher representation in those with “post-graduate degrees”,

but these are the people hiding out in that magic fairy land called “academia” where their skewed worldviews have no consequences on their livelihood.

People in the real world, making an honest living, lean more conservative.

What a bunch of nonsense. There are educated people on both sides of the political aisle. I would venture to say, however, that those who are educated on the liberal side are only liberals because they think they will be part of the ruling elite. They know darn well that liberalism does not work “for the masses”, but they think everyone else is too stupid to control their own lives.

Ann Coulter points out in “Slander” that the Democrats don’t argue using facts. They just call Republican’s stupid. This is an example of that. She also points out that conservative books are almost guaranteed best sellers while liberal books bomb . . . meaning . . . conservatives read and liberals don’t. But hey, what does she know? She’s just a stupid Republican. :P

Democrats and other unsavory types like them always do their surveys such that public school teachers get included in the ranks of the “educated”.

Voters with post graduate education are strong supporters of Obama? The more college education people have, the more liberal they tend to be.

Of course there are exceptions. But I bet almost everyone getting a graduate degree in Gay/Lesbian Studies, or Women’s Studies, or various other sociological fields, support Obama, because they are getting advanced degrees due to wanting to push a liberal social/political agenda. People in the hard sciences aren’t always so knee-jerk liberal.

But we can’t talk too much about the hard sciences, and reasons why relatively few women are in those fields. If you raise the questions, feminists will throw up and agitate so much, that a liberal president of Harvard can be fired for that academic inquiry.

News flash.

It is the democrats that are poor and uneducated and who usually live in the projects.

In order to believe this lie you have to believe that all those democrats that live in the projects are closet geniuses while all those rich and successful people with college degrees are morons.

right.

for example, didn’t Nancy Pelosi write a book a couple of years ago, which completely flopped? Liberal books just don’t seem to sell as well.

Maybe that indicates that conservatives are more likely to buy books than liberals?

...but more tellingly, the less education a person has, the likely they are to agree with a negative statement about the president...

This sentence is very telling. Are these categories negative statements or factual statements? The democrat Al Sharpton said that when America voted for Obama they voted for socialism. So did Sharpton become a republican, or is there such a thing as objective truth?

Now for the record, I don't believe every point listed...for example, I don't think Obama matches the Biblical description of the anti-Christ. But when one agrees with most or all of the 10 points of the communist manifesto what does that make that person? How close does this list sound to what the democrats are trying to install or have installed either in part or in whole?

10 point program of Communism

1.Abolition of property in land and of all rents of land to public purposes.

2.A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

3.Abolition of all right of inheritance.

4.Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.

5.Centralisation of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.

6.Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.

7.Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

8.Equal liability of all to labour. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

9.Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of the population over the country.

10.Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.[8]

Um...it wasn’t Republican voters who showed up at doctors offices the day after Obamacare passed wondering where their free healthcare was.

Voters with post grad degrees who support this twit like you say have degrees that do not require much thought or difficulty.
