Drafters still immune to bill's ills

WASHINGTON -- It turns out that President Obama and the congressional staffers who actually sat down and wrote the health-care bill might not have to contend with the complicated new health "exchanges" the new law is creating.

"It's pretty unbelievable that the president and his closest advisers remain untouched by the reforms they pushed for the rest of the country," fumed Sen. Charles Grassley (R- Iowa).

When health care was moving through the Senate, Grassley tried, unsuccessfully, to include an amendment to force all political appointees from the president on down to get their health care through the same exchanges set up for regular Americans.

Most feds will keep getting insurance through the well-regarded Federal Employees Health Benefits Plan.

Surely you jest, Sen. Charles Grassley. It's utterly predictable that the Special People would exempt themselves from the crapola they want to shovel on the rest of us.

And btw, what about your cushy Senate retirement pension? Anybody else in the US have that kind of plan anymore?

Dear Senator_____________
Is this is the way you view US:__
“It’s cuz Yer Dumb n I’m smarter den youze!”
Smart enough not to be a part of our “healthcare”
But able to tell US; How to live, and who’s to die !
Smart enough not to be a part of it ? ....You vote for this we’re gonna
make sure you are part of our “Healthcare”. ! Time to remind everyone about
the Canadian Prime Minister (governor) of the Canadian province of Newfoundland
who decided that the health system in Canada did not offer a better
alternative to his desperate health condition went to Florida to be operated on.
Point being the only alternative the Canadian PM had was to leave his country
because he was part of, as should you, and not be exempted from the system
as you are....If you don’t think we’re angry...Better think again
I PLEDGE SUPPORT FOR ANY REFERENDUM REQUIRING
OUR US LEGISLATORS BELONG TO OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM
THEY CREATED FOR US
