You seem to have a problem with verb tenses. The verb kill denotes an ongoing action, the verb killed speaks of a past action.
Why don't you try this question out:
What kind of Christians applaud people who killed Christians?
Is that so? If that is their "entire theme" then it shouldn't be difficult at all to provide proof.
Here is a link to their website to help you out:
Feminists for Life
You may also be interested in Rachel's Vineyard, they specialize in ministering to women (and men) suffereing from the aftermath of abortion.
Rachel’s Vinyard is an excellent site.
The kind of Christians Jesus asked us to be.
Read John, Chapter 8. Can you see the truth?
You added the word “renounce”.
In so doing, you are not replying to what I wrote, but rather to the opposite of what I wrote.
Why are you so hesitant to answer the question I asked in post #41?
Here it is again:
What kind of Christians applaud people who killed Christians?
That’s because what you wrote insinuated a falsehood. No one here is applauding the killing of babies.
Not difficult at all.
Just for starters, from all of one minute at their site, http://www.feministsforlife.org/who/aboutus.htm
“If you believe that no woman should be forced to choose between sacrificing her education and career plans and sacrificing her child”.
‘forced to choose’ is clearly disclaiming responsibility for aborting for the woman doing so, instead claiming that she must have been ‘forced to’.
That is their entire theme.
And so, it was easy to illustrate.
What is being applauded is the women who have killed babies.
Shocking for pro-lifers to do that.
What is being applauded is the renunciation of killing babies.
Now, go read John 8, and see if you can find the truth in it.
I think you're being disengenuous. They are applauding sinners who repent. That's a core Christian principle.
Nobody here is applauding the abortions, and you know it.
The entire theme of Feminists for Life is that women who aborted get to shirk responsibility for what they did and instead blame it on a man, blame it on society.
To substantiate that claim you have posted this from their website:
If you believe that no woman should be forced to choose between sacrificing her education and career plans and sacrificing her child.
And then you wrote:
forced to choose is clearly disclaiming responsibility for aborting for the woman doing so, instead claiming that she must have been forced to.
I think your problem may be one of reading comprehension. What Feminists for Life is saying is that NO WOMAN should EVER be forced to choose to sacrifice her baby.
NOTHING here says ANYTHING about "shirking responsibility".
BS!
Why are you so afraid to answer my simple question (it is almost verbatim what you wrote earlier):
What kind of Christians applaud people who killed Christians?
We all bring our own experiences to this forum and they have some affect on what we believe. My experience is that many women regret their abortions, repent from their abortions, and go on to try to speak out against abortion. That’s my experience. I spend four days a week outside an abortion clinic. I have seen many women who are there to help who have suffered through many years of regret and heartache over their own abortions. I do not applaud them for their abortions, but I do honor their efforts to keep others from making the same mistake. Jesus is the one who forgives. If He has forgiven them, who are we to withhold forgiveness?
The point is that there is no such thing as ‘being forced to choose’ to kill a a baby.
Claiming that there is absolutely shirks responsibility for the women who abort, by claiming that they were ‘forced to choose’ to do so: by circumstances, by society, by a man, etc...
...which is exactly where Feminists for Life places the blame.
They do not hold women responsible for their own actions in aborting.
Which is the point, very clearly.
Unrepentant = unforgiven.
Blaming others for one’s own wrong actions = unrepentant.
Your question is regrettably nonsensical, as there is no relevant example of such at hand, nor anyone claiming the existence of such.
And it has no relevance to what I wrote: it certainly isn’t ‘almost verbatim’ to anything that I wrote.
...which is exactly where Feminists for Life places the blame.
A claim you have yet to substantiate.
They do not hold women responsible for their own actions in aborting.
Another false claim.
I’m suspect that it is unlikely that we will see any substantiation.
And it has no relevance to what I wrote: it certainly isnt almost verbatim to anything that I wrote.
Nonsense. You are simply afraid to answer it.
Here is your original question:
What kind of Christians applaud women who kill babies?
And here was mine:
What kind of Christians applaud people who killed Christians?
