No such thing as a “blue dog” and there never was.
Those who believed that there were such a thing were simply mimicking and entertaining Democrat/Progressives themes involving unicron and rainbow dreams.

Further, a “pro-life” Dem is an oxymoron. Understood that yet? Get with the frakin’ program, you think?!

Inside every blue dog beats the heart of a yellow RAT. Are you listening, Florida-2?

Are you listening California-18 and California-20??

Again, Stupak was just looking for a little political cover to use in his re-election campaign. He got less than that from the White House.

I have to say I was surprised to see Jim Matheson voted “no.” I didn’t think he had the moral fiber to buck the party. He certainly hasn’t in the past.

All of the Democrat "no" votes are tainted as well. Once Pelonazi had her 216 votes, certain vulnerable Congressman given the green light to vote no.

Worth repeating --- There is no such thing as conservative, moderate, or blue-dog Democrat. It is the party of socialism, and ANY who belong to that party are that party!!

Heath Shuler (D-NC) is from the 11th Congressional District, and stood by his NO vote on the Health Care bill. I am neither a Dem or Republican, but I credit Shuler for making a stand against abortion. Like it or not, he stood with his constituents.
I understand that Virginia Fox, Larry Kissell, and Mike McIntyre also voted No! My thanks to them.

I can't believe you can be that naive. The only reason they voted "no" is because Nancy the Hag already had all the votes she needed and gave them permission for the sole purpose of making them look good to their constituents. If their votes had been necessary you can be sure they would have voted yes.

Oh, I agree, and I’m still on a quest to have him kicked to the curb, despite his “no” vote. He’s a lap dog dem. Do not want him representing me.

Your choice and your vote. You can use it anyway you want as far as I am concerned.

He’s just 1 more vote to keep Nancy Pelosi as speaker of the house.

But hey he’s a great guy.

You are missing the whole point! I will not vote for a party next time I vote, and never will, by the grace of God. I will not vote for a RINO or anybody that stands against by beliefs. What I KNOW is that Shuler stood up against political pressure from his party and voted against an evil bill that is pro-abortion. His reason, he is pro-life like me. Why do I vote against a man because he believes like me?? Why do I vote against a man that would vote like I would vote?? Why do I vote against a man that is doing what is right?? What we need are conservatives, period that believe in doing what is right!

You vote your party, I'll vote for the man.

The reason you are wrong is that voters in these district do NOT know what happened, and who is going to tell them? They will just stick with their familiar “blue dogs,” thank you.

Who is going to vote against the long-term incumbents? I can’t imagine losing more than ten points, which won’t be enough to defeat most of them.
