So one part of the gov’t sued another part of the gov’t using gov’t lawyers.. The one part of the gov’t paid a fine to another part of the gov’t.
....WHO WENT TO JAIL ?
My thoughts exactly maine yankee. We just sued ourselves for the acts of individuals who seem to be walking around free and a group of lawyers move on to the next piranha feeding frenzies.
More of our dollars wasted.
If I understand this correctly the US government is fining a US government-owned facility. All that amounts to is a temporary budget cut! BFD.
Government health care at it finest. OUR VETERANS DESERVE SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!!!!!!!!!
They are filled with hard-hearted, non-english-speaking quacks.
Their policies are not consistent, they change from day-to-day.
One day they will stand an older vet in the corner, facing the wall and ignore him, the next, they'll be over-medicating him.
When a vet enters, they make an automatic assumption that he is attempting to scam the system and do everything possible to talk him out of seeking help.
The employees are overpaid, underworked and for damn sure under-educated.
They will make a vet stand in a line for hours on end, simply because they can. They talk down to and treat as children, heroes that have more heart, courage and personal honor than they can ever hope for.
They lose records, many times on purpose, they treat vets with other vets records, insisting that the vet is the person they are treating, in spite of overwhelming documents to the contrary, and seek to have the vet removed by security when he insists that he is not the person whose records are present.
They will not release treatment records to a private physician or even talk to a private physician to further the treatment of a vet. Even with a personal visit by a private physician on behalf of a vet, they will stonewall and obfuscate and in some cases, just flat damn refuse to cooperate in the care of the vet.
In short, they SUCK.
Period.
All of the above is based on my personal experience and/or observation.
Nothing, nothing that anyone can say in their defense will ever make me change my mind about them.
