Yes, I noticed how he bewailed the fact that California could not “counter” the Texas board because they no longer had the purchasing power, and yet never questioned WHY they no longer have that purchasing power! I mean he concedes California is broke, but never questions why. Texas, for all his sarcasm about revisionist history, isnt broke. Oh, come on, it is obvious - Texas has oil and California has CAPPED oil, Texas has a viable state Legislature and California has a calcified legislative process. Texas has no state income tax and California has a GREAT BIG state income tax. Texas has a business-friendly attitude and California has a business-ugly attitude.

By the way, San Francisco; when the 'Big One' hits, I will be remembering all of your current sins- 'lotsa luck, Chuck'!
